Cafe Landwer

It was a rainy Saturday morning. Typically you need to book or join the wait list in advance on Yelp. I was solo this day and asked the hostess to sit at the bar. I was seated right away!nnService was quick. I got the Vanilla Latte and the Mediterranean Shakshuka. Both were delicious and warm. I people watched and enjoyed my brunch.

I was biking with my wife and this place called our attention, it was on the sunniest spot well, until the sun went behind a tall building… I guess see have to enjoy while we can. So, we received menus right away.nWe noticed vegetarian dishes, marked by “V” and all went thumbs up from there.nThe food is awesome. The quality of all is great and the taste superb.nnA place to have in your top list. Landwer’s aparece has been around since 1919, and it is a true diamond.nnFrom the service to the comfort to the choices and food’s outstanding qualities and taste, this place is a keeper.nnI recommend Cafe Landwer to all.nnThank you for the wonderful experience.

Food, service and atmosphere were all nice. All of the ratings are five stars for me. I really like this kind of place. I also like the interior too. Oreo milkshake was the best milkshake I have ever had. I hope to visit here again soon.

Popped in for breakfast as it was very convenient next to our hotel. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The service was great, server checked on us but didn’t make us feel rushed at all and the food came out promptly. The food was great, if you like eggs benedict I highly recommend the eggs benedict on the croissant, it was so good! And the crushed potatoes were fabulous. The only thing I would have changed is for the food to be a bit warmer, wasn’t very hot when it came out. My daughter got the London Fog to drink and loved it, my coffee was top notch. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great breakfast in downtown Toronto!!

Been here thrice, not so much for the food but the convenience of the location. While the meat options are not extraordinary dishes, this is more a haven for vegetarians. How they can “design” those veggies to a delectable dish is amazingly good.
