Fox Family Physicians

I was a patient ever since my parents moved to the area until I moved out of the area. My biggest issue was when I moved out of the area (2 hours away to WI). I couldn't find a primary right away, so I returned for a visit to update my prescriptions . My primary care doctor (Dr. Beeh) had retired, so I saw a NP. Everything was fine, until I needed a refill request. A new doctor had to refill it and wouldn't because it was "across state lines". Apparently, the NP that I had seen was no longer with the office and they had to give the refill to a new doctor. The 28 years I was a patient didn't matter apparently, nor did the fact that I had had a recent visit for an exam! Absolutely ridiculous. Nurses and Dr. Beeh that I saw previously were fantastic. Can't say the same for how it is going forward. Sad.

Always pleasant and cheerful. I am meeting a new Doctor, mine has retired. The front desk is very organized, professional and polite. They explained everything they needed with the transfer of records, and took the time to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this Doctors office.

Place sucks. Always running behind 20 minutes or more. Showed up to my appt 20 minutes early. Multiple people were seen before me that showed up later than me. Ended up just leaving. Bush league!!

Needed a new Doctor as I was no longer eligible through the VA once I turned 65. I chose Dr. Beri as my primary and couldn't be happier. She was friendly and thorough. Very pleased with my overall experience.

I don't know what has happened to this place the last couple years, it has seriously gone downhill. The office staff is mostly rude and clueless. I tolerated that for years because I got good care here. But in the past couple years, 3 doctors (including mine) have left, and the doctor I switched to after mine left just retired abruptly this summer. I try to make an appointment with my new doctor (now 3rd doc in 2 years), and I sit on the phone for 15 minutes while they say they are fighting some new software upgrade trying to get enough of my information for an appointment. The person I talked to didn't even apologize. Then, I couldn't even get in to see my new doctor, I had to see one of the PA's or NP's or whatever. That actually turned out OK, cause they ended up giving me better care than I have gotten from Fox Valley Family Physicians in years. But while waiting to have blood drawn for that appointment, I could hear some women in an office around the corner gossiping and bad-mouthing coworkers! So unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. I'm thinking this place is going to be closing soon. Many of the doctors are older and are probably also ready to retire just like my doc retired recently. So maybe they just don't care anymore and are just hanging on trying to make more money. But I advise people to stay away from this place. The high turnover and the horrible reception/office staff are not worth it. I'm finding a new doctor.
