Had a very good experience this morning at this food basic.nWe went into the store specifically for the beautiful, fresh palm trees they had on sale.nSelected a few plants and brought them to the self checkout.nWe were greeted by a very cheery “Good morning” and “let me help you with those”!nThe lady offering help was Serifema.nShe was upbeat and friendly, welcoming, engaging and professional.nThe store is clean, well stocked and organized, however it is our interaction with Serifema that has made us want to return to the store even though it’s not in our immediate neighborhood!nThank you for starting off our day on a great note!

I love their low prices compared to the other Supermarkets in the area. You do need a quarter to get a cart. The store and the public washroom are clean and tidy, well lit and maintained. The staff walking around working and cashiers are friendly and helpful. Please see the pictures!!

Store reps are nice, but I have concern on their fridge. I think this is mold being built up , and mold can be in air in this situation. I don't know why this was not fixed, as I noticed they did some work sometime ago

It's sad watching this location going downhill.nSince they placed the self checkout they hardly have one cashier open and when you ask them to open more cashiers the answer is that the don't have enough employees. The other major problem is that the water is placed next to the windows and it's boiling under the sun and This is a health hazard. Milk fridge is always dirty and moldy. In the vegetable section the mats on the floor are so wet and dirty that I try to avoid stepping on them.nI use to spend over $200 per week on this location. Now I go sometimes only for some vinegar and laundry detergent but I regret it every time. The manager Jeff is extremely rude when you ask him something and he walks away like he didn't hear you.nToday is the last time there.

A dumpy and not greatly kept Food basics…very disappointing. Only a handful of bananas and all super green eith bruises, no ground beef econo packs that are on sale, cheese just tossed half hazardly in display cases. Not a single human cashier working except the express line forcing you to use self checkout snd the girl was so busy there you had to wait and wait and wait to assist you. This store could be soooooo much better. Also the bearded Indian man working the dairy section didn’t seem to grasp the concept that someone doesn’t want to buy 4L of milk set to expire in two days, the concept completely escaped him.
