I've been to five guys about five times, and the experience is very consistent, which usually would be a positive thing. However I just don't seem to be a fan of the style of burger, it doesn't have a ton of flavor, and the bun is one of the worst I've had at a burger joint. The Fry's taste good, but their texture is not great; large thick cut but soft texture. Once you consider the price, I'd rate this as one of my last choices for burgers in Calgary.
Food wasn't what I expected. First time having 5 Guys and it wasn't oily and greasy. It made the burger not quite taste right. The rest of it was fine.nnPlace wasn't the most tidy. Floors were a little dirty, and tables had salt and bits on them. I'd expect it to be pristine considering they literally just opened when I walked in and ordered.
Got a raw burger, pretty sure they have a sign up that says guaranteed well done? Definitely wouldn’t recommend
First time trying Five Guys and it was okay. The burger had no seasoning or flavour to it...and you could taste all the different ingredients separately from one another. In other words, the flavors didn't really come together. Great portion size for both the burger and fries.nnThe salty peanuts in the shell were very tasty.nnWill come back again and try to give it another chance.
Very juicy hamperger, making me wow. It's just too busy for five people at peak times. One of them is responsible for assembling burgers and cleaning everywhere wiping tables and floors and is too busy to wash hands, a work schedule that doesn't make sense. My friend and I went to Five Guys three times and we both had diarrhea after each meal. Something that doesn't like a coincidence
