Extended Stay America - Boise - Airport

I love this hotel! I've stayed here twice coming through Boise and enjoyed both experiences. Not only are the rooms very clean, but the hotel was overall very quiet and comfortable. I was driving a Penske truck with a trailer and had plenty of room to park with out taking up the entire parking lot.

I was placed on the lower floor when I had requested well ahead of time for a room on the second floor as I didn't want children above me. They told me they didn't put children on the second floor. I was here for 3 months and they continually put children up above me, running, jumping, etc. When I complained, they were worthless and did almost nothing. Their answer was for me to either move or leave. Cockroaches in the room twice. The housekeepers do very little. The manager is a joke and needs a job somewhere else. Very small kitchen area with no real room to make much or do dishes. These people lie to your face so beware. You may be ok for a short stay, but don't plan on any longer!! I'll never stay here again and I plan to spread the word of how awful these people are!!

Clean, but had residual smoke smell, it was "there" but not overwhelming...comfortable bed, good rest, kitchenette CLEAN, very quiet area, convenience store a short walk across street. stayed one night just traveling through. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Very nice rooms. Clean and in good repair. No coffee maker in rooms but you can request one. Don't expect much on the "free breakfast". Muffins, instant oatmeal, granola bars and not very good coffee. That's it.

I was a little concerned after I booked this hotel and read the reviews but overall it was a good experience. A small hiccup when I checked in: the front door was locked after 11pm and with my flight arriving at 1am I had to ring th night manager. After a short delay he came to the door and said the hotel was fully booked, and I told him I had a reservation. He said even with a reservation he couldn't accommodate me. Gratefully my mother had arrived a few hours previously and was already in a room but I would have been upset to arrive at my hotel at 1am to discover I didn't have a place to stay in an unfamiliar city. The rest of check in was smooth. There was no cutlery or dishes in the room, but a card was in the kitchen area explaining that the guest had to call the front desk for the kitchen items. Not a big deal, but I got it early in the morning to visit an I'll family member and the last thing I wanted to do was wait for cutlery to be delivered to eat my oatmeal. But the beds were comfortable, the room very clean and the hotel was updated and modern. Very little in the way of amenities, but if you just need a clean comfy place to stay for the night this would work.
