Essence Of Coffee

Coworker and I were here every morning we were through Rapid. Absolutely exquisite coffee/food. Casual feel, you get what you pay for so it's worth the little extra. Easy parking nearby even on busy mornings. We never had a problem finding somewhere to sit. I'll miss this shop now that the seasons done.

Love this place. I really enjoy the high-quality, single-origin coffee as well as the wide selection of healthy food options. They also offer a variety of baked goods. Very friendly people with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Perfect for enjoying a coffee or latte on a cold fall day. Just wish they had more seating and the city didn't make you pay for parking.

Had a "flat white" coffee and a BLT salad. Their coffee has a great unique flavor and the bacon in the BLT salad had a perfect smokey flavor. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Will definitely go back.

Amazing food and coffee! Takes a little bit but it is well worth the wait. Owners and staff are awesome as well.

I love everything about Essence. Dale, the owner is certainly a friendly and quality guy who has the finest breakfast establishment in town, in part due to his excellent work in hiring great staff. Chief among them? Heidi, the chef, because her items are to die for. My first recommendation is the Apple and sausage hash, as it is quite literally the best breakfast dish I have ever had, though my second recommendation, the avocado open face, follows closely behind. Both are a delightful combination of sweet and savory, and coupled with an affogato or some of your favorite tea, the culinary experience for a place of this size is unparalleled. One part coffee shop, one part delectable eatery, and one part awesome employees, this is Rapid's breakfast MUST.
