Encore Tea

Located inside the Richmond Public Market. Prices are pretty cheap. Tried the passion fruit green tea and the fruit tea. Both tasted very similar. Surprised at how long it took to make the drinks as there wasn't a line or orders ahead of us.

They have a dang tasty bubble waffle unique in flavor and squishy inside and crispy outside. Their galaxy drinks also taste great and fresh with lots of real passion fruit bits. Beautiful drink to look at. Worth trying. The other reviews confuse me... Had it for breakfast today and it was a great treat!

Careful when ordering. The prices may look decent, but it all adds up quickly in the background. I ordered a Matcha Latte and Honey Ginger Tea at $4.50 each at base, according to the menu. Toppings were listed as $1.00 each. However, what isn't listed is that iced drinks cost an extra $0.50 on top of the menu price. On top of that, I was mischarged a debit card fee; $0.15 charge when the order is under $10 when paying with a debit card. Luckily, the staff allowed me to explain to them why I was not supposed to be charged extra. At this higher price point, I expected the drinks would be decent. The matcha latte, unfortunately, tastes like iced water with a dash of matcha syrup and a hint of milk. I can't imagine getting reduced sugar. I would recommend going elsewhere, unless price and quality are a nonfactor, cause all you get is decently friendly staff.

I'm not sure how this place is still in business. I asked for a receipt and they refused to give me one which I understood after as they gave me the wrong drink and charge 50 cents for ice. I'll go to the other bubble tea shop in the market that has cheaper and better drinks & customer service. No "Encore" visit here

The bubble tea was very average in taste. It wasn't anything special for me. It was alright but just alright.

Love their Sugar Cane Tea so much!! Must try if you visit Richmond Public Market

Just tried a Taro Smoothie at Encore Tea and if I can, I would rate them a zero. We ordered 2 Tara Smoothie tea for $6.80 each. We ordered them at 1:20 pm so basically a very quite Tuesday afternoon and we did not receive our drinks until 145. It would of been worth it if the Taro smoothie tasted half decent. Other then the shaved ice and food colouring, the drink itself was so tasteless that half was discarded despite being extremely thirsty. I would never ever come to Encore Tea again unless you want to waste your time and money.

Because many people already talked about staff and manager's attitude, I won't talk about it any further. I have never expect that there is a tea store that charge you for straw. If the beverage is good, I have nothing to say. The reality is that the beverage is bland. Try to avoid this store and go to the Peanut's.

The bubble tea is pretty good, but a little pricy. They take awhile to make the drink but it tastes better than I expected!

Kindness goes a long way. That is also a two way street. I hope more people try to support this place other than expecting streamlined uniformed drink and experiences. I Love to support local businesses and entrepreneurs. I can tell this family is trying to make it work. The drinks were good. My mom had a laugh with the lady cashier.
