Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport

Very Convenient, close to the airport.nLobby staff friendly.nRooms Clean and aesthetically appealing.nNow restaurant service is why the service gets 3 stars first waiter looked at my 4 times while waiting at the wait to be seated sign. She didn’t even show me any type of acknowledgment while I was waiting she then proceeded to seat a couple who was waiting behind me while I was waiting to be seated, staring directly at her. Another waiter had to come out and ask me if I needed anything to finally get serviced, her servicing was great, quick, and easy. Of course I didn’t dine at that point because that threw my energy and vibe off definitely did not feel welcoming. Overall great hotel.

I had a great experience using the Park Stay and Fly option. We were well greeted and given complimentary drinks. The restaurant was fabulous. Best airport hotel food I have ever had. The shuttle was on time, and it was a short trip to the airport.

My mom and I are loyal Embassy Suites guests, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with our recent stay. While there were definitely some highlights, a few issues made us regret our decision this time.nnOn the positive side, we loved the breakfast. It was wonderful to have a custom omelet each morning, and the breakfast area was never too busy, which made for a pleasant and relaxed start to our day.nnHowever, we had an uncomfortable experience at breakfast one morning when an employee slipped a check presenter to us. The bill showed zero, which felt like an insinuation to leave a tip. Considering the price we pay to stay here, this was surprising and out of line with what we’ve experienced at other Embassy Suites locations.nnAdditionally, the parking fees were steep, which added to our frustration. We also had to call maintenance twice during our short stay due to issues with the air conditioning. The thermostat was completely illegible, and even after sending guest services a picture, it took a while for the problem to be resolved.nnAnother concerning issue was the side door. There was a prominent sign stating that the door is locked 24/7 for security, requiring a room key to enter. This made us feel safe initially. However, we were able to enter via this door numerous times without a key, which made us feel uneasy about the hotel's safety measures.nnWhile we typically love staying at Embassy Suites, this experience was disappointing, and we hope these concerns are addressed in the future.

Rooms are great, large sized. Excellent water pressure in the morning, I know it sounds silly to mention but I have been to other hotels where the morning shower was a trickle..... Breakfast was excellent, I had the custom omelette made to order. They also had oatmeal, cereal, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, bagels and meat.nThe service was excellent, I had a minor issue with a non working item in the room and they had it switched out less than half hour after check in. the only issue is that occasionally you hear a plane that is coming in way to low and fast, but you are beside an airport so it is to be expected. Security was in a car in the parkade and they were clearly doing their jobs. I felt that my vehicle was safe in their lot. All in all I would stay here again for sure.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Reasonable prices with excellent proximity to the airport. I love how there is no carpet in the rooms! That gross musty smell that hits you with every hotel is definitely not an issue here. Highly recommend.
