terrible attitude towards their citizens! I applied to the consulate about the production of a passport for a preferential category, I was informed that there is a separate queue for this category. and you will be contacted in September or early October. today, October 16, I wrote several emails during the month to understand the situation with the queue, but no one answers my messages. simply ignored. you can't catch a slot and this problem is only in Canada. can't be reached. it's a horror. horrible consulate and their staff. one gets the impression that all these problems are created artificially

ADVICE: follow the General consulate Facebook page. They have all the updates we need and even organize online questions sessions.nI arrived at consulate at 1:00 pm and picked my passport at 6:30. It was nice to find out they accept all the people till the last personnnWednesday: they open at 2pm. People line up way before the consulate opens. Live line, but they call for the ones with appointments first.nnAll the other people wait in the line. Passports pick-up and other docs pick up only after 4:30.nnThere was only one lady working and she refused to answer any questions. Pretty heavy atmosphere, but people try to stay positive and laugh at a bad situation which is a big strength of Ukrainians.

Just sad that expirity date extension for passport has to be less than 2 months to apply. Several people had issues with that as their student/work visa had to be extended, but the passport expired shortly after, which means they had to apply again and again.... The consulate should step up and change these silly rules, as people are already struggling to make ends meet in Canada. As if the Ukrainians haven't been through enough suffering, these jokers are making it worse!

Hi,nThey have created conditions under which if you have been living in Canada for a long time and want to keep your Ukrainian passport, you will not be able to do so. Register in the Diya app from Canada is not possible. Even women and children cannot get a new passport.nMoreover, they created corruption, because the free slots are sold!nI hope you all lose your jobs soon.

Impossible to book an appointment, nobody answers emails and nobody answers phone calls. They have so many available spots for other services but not for a new passport!
