Consulate General of Poland in Toronto

Useless!!!! I put in my paperwork in July to get my citizenship verified and found out that it was sitting at consulate for a month before it was sent off to be processed. I was never notified of this delay and was told it would be sent within a couple of days. Don’t trust them to do anything. They need to have their hand held throughout the process. I would give them a zero if I could.

The worst service ever, does anyone even work there, on the phone all they do is ask you to go on the website, the info on website takes you to a schedule where you have to pick a date to schedule a visit, only in that month, it does not show you future availability and all the dates ant times are during hours that no one is available unless they take a day off from work. You can’t leave a message because the voicemail is full. Can we get someone else here? Please!!! It’s easier and faster to get a polish passport going to Poland than here. If the consul works like this than we don’t need a consulate here.

If you make an appointment, you’ll be fine. If not, they will do their best to accommodate you in a respectful and dignified manner but you will be asked to wait until the people with appointments are seen; they’re short staffed right now so keep that in mind. The security officers working there are super helpful and should get a raise!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Anytime you come here prepare to waste your time and have your day ruined. They gate keep info. You’re better off asking chatGPT for an answer it will be 100% more helpful. Cannot wait for them to be replaced by AI.nnVery confusing why PUBLIC SERVANTS treat the people who pay their salaries so bad. Also confused why they think working for the government is a status symbol and have an arrogance like they’re better than you. Like relax your checking forms to give people a passport you’re not that special lol.
