Einstein's Tap House

We checked out a couple of clubs surrounding this place, and we ended up here, all for the first time. We ended up not checking out the place directly next door, or the pizza place on the corner that appeared to be wall-wall people, and really small. Einstein's Tap House had great music from the DJ, the pool tables were a plus. Large enough that we didn't feel confined in a room FULL of people. The woman working the door was really nice and watched my drink for me. The bartenders were doing tricks, and having fun making our drinks. Will most definitely be returning. Great experience:

Never in my life have I imbibed and subscribed to a tap house with a caliber equal to Einstein's. Not only did I drink, but I was offered food, neigh a meal. A pizza to delight the senses, much better than Kristy Krab pizza. The bartenders were tending so hard I had to cut them off..from treating me so well, once it was time to go. The music was personally selected and the transitions smoother than my brain as the dance floor bumped and vibed more than a school bus over a Winooski speed-bump. 10/10 will return as often as my paycheck allows

A bunch of people are review bombing this bar due to some dumb controversy with the owner. Take it with a grain of salt. The people that work here are friendly and will always greet you with a smile and fist bump. Drinks are awesome and priced lower than competitors and the environment is clean and fun. 3 pool tables, and an actual DJ every night makes this place an absolute blast on weekends!

Went up to Einsteins with a buddy on a sarcastic whim the other day and although it felt like an upscale lounge on a cruise ship, that's might be exactly what this town is missing! Einsteins doesn't quite know what it's identity is but it has a super comfortable and well-adorned entertainment space that hardly anyone is taking advantage of so you get to spread out and take off your shoes if you want, which I did while I enjoyed $4 upper pass drop in drafts and played pool on tables that are in better condition than anywhere else I know of in chittenden county. Don't be scared off by the weird dance club vibes, this place breaks the mold of a typical Burlington bar and is a fun change of pace.

The fact that they have a dress code in Burlington Vermont, a hippie college town, is ridiculous. As long as people don’t stink no one cares what other people are wearing! Given the vague nature of the dress code I can only imagine it’s used to keep out people who you otherwise would not legally be allowed to refuse service. I would’ve gone to your place but I’d never support a business that’s so stuck up they don’t want business from people because of how they’re dressed or from what glean from other comments the color of their skin. Also your website says you scan IDs. No thank you big brother I’d rather not have you record my attendance; just check my ID like everyone else. It’s too bad it looks like a decent place although judging from the google reviews it’s actually not but I’d never spend a dollar at a bar whose owners have such messed up values. Hopefully they’ll go out of business quickly so we can get a place that respects that they’re there to serve the customers and realizes they’re lucky to have the business. Also a lot of these 5 star reviews seem to read suspiciously like advertisements mentioning the same things they say on their website or ads.

This is the spot! Live DJ every night, low priced drinks, billiards, awesome staff, terrific owner, and great vibes. These folks deserve more than 5 stars!

One of the best times i have had downtown, dj plays various music so it doesnt get stale.
