Applebee's Grill + Bar

Went here last night. The appetizer was great. The burger was tasteless and terrible. I ordered the Whiskey BBQ Burger. The lettuce had more taste than the burger. I have a attached a picture of what was left on my plate when I left. I literally only took one bite of the burger. We told our waiter and you could tell she felt bad our meal sucked but oh well I guess $$$ wasted.

The food was way better several years ago. We ordered 2 Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp meals and I was so disappointed. It was dry and sat on top a giant bed of onions and mushrooms, which just seemed weird with them being hidden under the chicken. Our service was slow and they seemed clueless. We ordered a cocktail only to be brought a lemonade, which we were still charged for even after telling the server it should have been a cocktail and not a lemonade, despite it sitting untouched on the table the entire time. I left hungry and disappointed. Will not return.

Just an overall 'ok' experience...we were seated promptly however, the server was pleasant but less than attentive... we had no napkins, plates and she forgot to bring them after we asked. Also, the staff were all standing in a group talking...5 of them, blocking the restrooms. Not only does that look bad but there were other things they could have been doing: the restrooms needed attention and our ketchup was empty... The worst part was that the items that had been fried were ruined. From experience I know that taste comes from old, dirty cooking oil that has turned rancid. We could not eat the fries and it gave the quesadilla a bad taste. Sorry for the less than positive review but all of these items are an easy fix.

I placed my order online. The restaurant wasn't slammed packed so I was able to look around for the "Pickup" sign location way in the back. It was nice to see that my food was bagged up, and on a tray ready a few minutes from my scheduled pick up time.Food: 4/5

Service was slow yet rushed. We ordered the AYCE SPECIAL. The food was great but we weren't really offered refills. We had to request them. Drinks were served in to go cups for us but everyone else had regular cups. We were told they had a dinner rush and they had no clean cups, understandable at the moment. This location in Burlington always has poor service, I really stopped going here 5 years ago but decided to give it a try hoping they made a change. However, nothing has changed. I will continue to go to Greensboro I will drive the distance for better service.

We had Ty as our waitress today when me and my mom using her phone ate lunch. She was awesome, she made our first trip there in several years great. Although still apprehensive about about eating there due to our last visit but I'll give it a chance because of Ty

the food was good the service was subpar to say the least offered to pay 40 dollars to sit on outside patio so i could smoke and was obliged then wouldn’t provide cushions for patio furniture after i paid after that refused service to me after tipping bartender another twenty dollars for 40 dollar tab because it was family restaurant because third party next to me was too loud in what they said was “ family “ establishment ….. it wasn’t me or had anything to do with me i sat with bartenders boyfriend who bartender cleared my seat and drink for because i went to smoke and had to buy an additional drink and lose half my plate of food because i went to smoke and her boyfriend came in… i didn’t even k ow it was her boyfriend and bought two birthday drinks for him and was then kicked/ refused service for ??? i travel this country working and for the first time in my life experienced racism and degradation because of ????

It was a while since I've been there, but the food was delicious. The server was very pleasant.Food: 5/5

Had a great time bartender Vanessa and hostess Shyann, and Melody were awesome they all made me fill welcome food was great beer was nice and cold.Food: 5/5
