The Daily Planet

Okay the food here tasted AMAZING!! We loved our vegan nachos, soup and salmon dishes. Portions were slightly on the smaller size for the price but we felt the flavor still made it worth it. We really appreciate the fun and tasty mocktail menu too! Overall, The Daily Planet menu has options for everyone, incredible vibes and attentive service. If you are visiting Burlington and trying to have a fun dinner out, this is the place!

A restaurant like no other, The Daily Planet was a very enjoyable experience. Emily, my waitress was very friendly and right on point with service. I was able to enjoy outside seating and noted the inside had great art that matched the setting. I enjoyed two adult beverages, the Smoke Jumper and the Kentucky Mash. Both were great, but the Smoke Jumper was particularly well mixed. I had two small plates; the Green Beans Almondine and the Gazpocho Verde. The The Green Beans Almindine was so good I want to try and make them at home. The Gazpocho Verde was excellent, but be prepared for a cold style soup, which I enjoy.

Staff was quite friendly. Restaurant was lively while still had seating without reservation. Appreciated that they had many vegan items, and they were clearly marked on the menu. Got the grilled sausage sandwich with Beyond Meat Bratwurst and greens. Enjoyed the fresh ingredients and flavors!

Pretty good place with nice atmosphere. The food was good and I liked their cocktail options. The Solarium is very beautiful, but be mindful that it's little chilly in the winter months, cause I think there is no heating in that area.

THIS PLACE WAS EXCELLENT! I ordered the Jalapeño Black Bean Fritters and Smokejumper Cocktail, both of which were absolutely delicious. The number of vegan options to choose from was great and the staff was very friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Both the cocktails and food were great, I had the thief in the night. The pork loin was incredibly tender and delicious. If we were from the area, we'd be regulars.

Totally awesome dinner here, with inventive cocktails, great service, and especially delicious entrees. Hot, savory dishes and fresh wine. Splendid apps. Cheerful atmosphere that filled up with happy diners. A big menu for many palates. A chill, funky decor offset by lots of natural night and idiosyncratic nooks. We even bought some of the art right off the wall.

Lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious, all three of us completely finished our plates! The staff was super nice, and when I asked for a suggestion between two dishes to get he actually have me an answer I get bugged when wait staff say “they’re both great” and it was a great choice. He was also super hot so that was a plus

I believe this is restaurant local ppls goes. Good atmosphere and server was very nice. I ordered pork loin and it is really great. Especially pork belly taste nice. I want to try other dishes next time.

My choices for the food and drink went well together with the flavor and texture profile. Well deserved 5 stars. I had Sloppy Jose and Pineapple Breeze.
