Not only do they roast their own coffee, but you can buy coffee that has been recently roasted...so just about at fresh as you can get. The staff know their coffee and are always helpful in recommending a bean to suit my taste. They have a good selection which they serve as beans or can grind for you.
I love this place.. the shop is like a little magical Harry Potter shop.. Beans everywhere.. and of course the amazing coffee machines.. I purchased an amazing machine from here.. great people.. friendly staff.. and very helpful. I now order my coffee online from the shop.. great service.. arrives within about 2 days.. nicely packaged. Had one little hiccup with one order.. so I got onto the staff and it was rectified immediately.. no complaints.. greats service and corrected my order straight away. Looking forward to buying coffee from them again soon. Or if your in the area. Pop into their shop, and sample some coffee.
A few months ago I picked up a high end machine and grinder from this unassuming shop, web prices were cheaper elsewhere but I know from experience, in the long term buying locally tends to pay off. In the event the shop was competitive on price difference anyway but more importantly the engineer came out twice to sort some minor problems that would have been difficult to resolve if I'd bought on the internet, plus gave much advice on plumbing machine in. So buy local and trust in quality aftersales.
Great shop wide range of coffee beans and equipment. Always get a free coffee when I go in and purchase my bean fix. Nice friendly staff definitely recommend this place. My go to!
I found Coffeebay last year when I was looking for a grinder, and have been buying beans from them ever since. They always deliver promptly, and the quality is fantastic- even more so considering the price! Would definitely recommend.
This is an excellent coffee shop, which I discovered only recently despite living quite close by for many years. I contacted them initially to ask them if they could match my favourite coffee - a brand from Italy that seems only to be available in the UK via a mail order company in Germany I was worried about the impact of Brexit. After I provided CoffeeBay with a sample of beans, they came up with a very good match at a lower price, and I am now a regular customer. Highly recommended.
A friend recommended Traders to us several years ago. Whilst I miss calling in person and having a chat, the personal service delivered by Traders online is very efficient and much appreciated, particularly in lockdown. Delivery is prompt and there is a great range of loose leaf tea - SO much nicer than tea bag tea! The coffee is really good too and can be ground according to need.
I have been a customer of Traders / Coffee Bay for around 8 years now, since purchasing my first 'proper' home espresso machine. This has recently been traded in for a newer model, and Traders did me a good deal, better than online. Coffee bean orders and delivery during Covid lock down have been superb.
I can't thank CoffeeBay and Miro enough, despite my espresso machine not being one they supplied their persistence in sourcing parts and locating problems in an unfamiliar machine warrants 10 stars. Not only that but their fairness and transparency in billing was exemplary. Also just had first real coffee in a while and absolutely love their Papua New Guinea Single Origin coffee. Big thank you.
Quiet, unassuming place in a non-Hipster neighbourhood. But, the coffee range is amazing the Malawi coffee just now was to die for and they have a lot of machines and merchandise in store which are worth a look. Gem of a local business with the only downside being a lack of parking in the vicinity.
