Loved my experience here. I’m first time ebike owner and have had it for one year, needed brakes checked. He was able to do them in 15 minutes and he was friendly and willing to answer any questions I had, I feel a lot safer now and know if I need something I can go here. Also feels great to support small local businesses. Tip: go before it’s nice outside like February to avoid any wait in the spring. Thanks
I've been riding with loose brakes and brought it into this store to have them tightened. This is my first bike. I was prepared to pay but the gentleman said no charge after he fixed it. He even pumped up my tires and showed me how to lubricate my chains by lubricating my chains! My bike feels brand new again. Very nice guy and I will be coming back.
Dropped a wheel off On 6/29 to replace a spoke and be trued. Was told it would be ready the next day. 6/30 I get a call around 5pm saying he needed rim tape to complete the repair. I headed over to the next nearest bike shop in rush hour traffic to get the one inch rim tape he specified, to be told it was the wrong type. While I don't doubt his knowledge of bikes, wouldn't bring any new tech here. This resulted in my having to bring my wheel, in pieces to another shop and because of the long weekend, have a week downtime with my bike.
I looked a brand new bicycle, next day I went to bank and brought a cash to buy it guy told me to bring cash it would be cheaper. I entered, guy was on a phone, another customer entered after me, he needed his bike to be fixed. I was buying a brand new bicycle, guy told me to wait until he repair the guy's bicycle?! When someone comes to your shop to buy a brand new bicycle, you concentrate on selling that bicycle, answer questions about warranty and don't tell customers to wait until you fix someone bicycle. That person came after me. I told the guy that I will go to another shop. When I was leaving the lady who works there entered and wanted to help me, but I was leaving, told the guy that I brought cash money and left. Funny is how some people lose business. I am laughing now. I bring my bicycle there for repair and usually you leave it for repair.i I have two bicycles and soon I will have three. Don't take me wrong. This is a good shop, I had so many businesses with them and I gave them 5 stars before. But they don't know to run that business, that is so bad. I wanted to buy that bicycle there because I had a great experience with them. But i said before a princip is a princip. I wish them the best.
Great service without all the weight. Very reasonable pricing as well.
Can't say enough about how amazing my experience has been with Gib and this business. I normally go to another well known bike shop for repairs and tune-up and I had an issue with my rear caliper which I was told end of June to come in. I called Edmonds Cycle and was told a 2 day turnaround. 2 days later and my bike was repaired. Not only that, a few days later I had another issue with my bike and Gib fixed it 5 min flat. I'm totally switching my family bike needs to Edmonds. Plenty of parking, reasonable rates. Strongly recommend!!!
Brought my bike into their shop after breaking my rear axle. They fixed and tuned my bike within 24 hours of bringing it in. I’m glad I didn’t go to the other major bike shops locally, they were higher in price and long wait for repairs and tunes. All my friends and myself will be coming to Edmonds Cycle from now on. Fair pricing and excellent service. Thank you!
I wish there was a ZERO star. If you wanted to waste your time and money, go for this guy! I went there for a bike tuneup. The owner charged me $80. Three months after the "service", the brake stopped working with the back wheel axle broken. I went back to the store and the owner told me he didn't notice the broken axle because the supposed "tuneup" service didn't include checking up the wheels. He said the back wheel is not repairable and even tried to sell me a new one for $90. Don't go there. Read all the one star reviews. I’m not the only one. Many complaints are about his lack of care and integrity. Don’t just write a review here. Report him to BBB. Someone like him shouldn’t be allowed to run a business.
Had to get my son's rear wheel and brake pad replaced. Extremely fast, friendly and fairly price service! Talking to the owner, the pandemic has resulted in a bike and bike part shortage and I was happy to support a local family run bike shop. I will definitely be back to purchase a new bike from this shop once new shipments come in.
Very friendly staff, they fixed my bike rather quickly as well. Reasonable price too!
