Econo Lodge Montmorency Falls

We were very happy with our 2-night stay at this hotel. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful to us. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was good. The hotel backs onto the St. Lawrence River making the views amazing. There are not many restaurants in the area but that didn't affect us.nWe would like to thank Francois and his staff for the great hospitality!!

Disastrous Experience – Avoid This HotelnnI booked a three-night stay at this hotel and explicitly requested no daily room cleaning. The staff provided me with a sign to hang on the door to indicate this. However, on the second night, when I returned to my room, I found that it had been cleaned and all of my personal belongings were missing.nnUpon inquiry, the front desk was unaware of the situation. After some searching, they found a few of my items and a wet bra that didn’t belong to me. The service staff on that night could not resolve the issue, and the next day, when I contacted the manager, no resolution was offered.nnHalf a week has passed, and no one has contacted me. I have yet to receive any communication explaining why my room was cleaned against my request and why all my belongings were taken. My remaining items are still missing. This lack of response and accountability is unacceptable. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel to prevent similar issues.

A good option for a cheaper hotel outside of qc city. Very close to mountmorency falls and ile d'orleans. I was happy to see you can open the windows to get some fresh air, especially since this is a pet friendly hotel. Breakfast was adequate however it seemed like there were a lot of ppl working in the breakfast area yet the dishes were overflowing, items not stocked, tables dirty etc.

The hotel is 2 floors high and has several entrances for convenience. It is on a major highway by the St Lawrence River but the rooms are insulated well and not much noise is heard from the highway. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The gentleman at the front desk was sweet and helpful, the room was clean and in order. The breakfast sufficient as well. All was well until 1030, when housekeeping attempted to enter my room repeatedly as I’m getting ready. As a female traveler this is dangerous and disturbing. Check out is 11am not 1030. They tried for an entire 20 minutes!! Unsettling to say the least
