We loved our stay at this hotel. It is centrally located, perfect for exploring not just the old city but also all the other wonderful attractions around Quebec. It's within easy walking distance of many restaurants. The rooms were clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We had a great stay on our trip at the Normandin, the room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast was good not many hot options other than Baked Beans and Toasted Bread but it was good. Good proximity to many things nearby.
I had to make a last minute booking at the staff was so helpful, we ended up staying in a room with a king bed and it was so well thought off and the placement of everything was just perfect, I really recommend you stay here if you visit quebec for the weekend. You even have a small breakfast included, its more affordable than other hotels as well and it actually looks like the photos you see on the site:
Had an excellent experience during a business trip to attend the Airmedic cérémonie commémorative at the Videotron Centre. The front of house staff were very friendly and accommodating, offering us a late checkout which allowed us to store our luggage with peace of mind and change after the event before going to the airport. We greatly appreciated their understanding and welcome. The rooms were clean and serviceable, with all the amenities one would expect for the price range. Definitely book directly through the hotel's website, as it's both cheaper and includes a breakfast voucher. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointed, for $12 if you didn't have a voucher you would expect at least some hot food items, but it was mostly just fruit, yoghurt, and grains. I suspect it's to encourage us to go to their 24 hour restaurant instead where you receive a 20% discount for breakfast as a hotel guest. There were plenty of food options within walking distance of the hotel's parking lot, and we enjoyed having a commissary to purchase snacks and beverages right in the hotel lobby. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel as an option if staying outside the downtown Quebec City area.
The hotel was overall good, but the internet in room 139 did not work properly. When we brought it to the staff's attention, they offered another room, but due to our circumstances, we couldn't move. Unfortunately, the hotel did not offer any compensation for the issue, which was disappointing. If reliable Wi-Fi is important to you, double-check before booking.
