Everything was awesome here... however Google should update their Intel because this location is a Days Inn

Good location with easy access to downtown core by either car or public transit (bus).
Rooms are comfortable and clean, although being right on the TransCanada Hywy (16 Ave NW) the front can be noisy at times if window is open, but all things considered -- not bad.
Several people have commented on how they didn't like all the dogs...huh??? It is advertised as pet-friendly!!! Most of the dogs there when we stayed were well-behaved and friendly. The one little guy is owned by one of the staff and is friendly, mellow, and sweet and loves people! We thought it was great!
Free wireless is good. Having a small fridge and microwave in rooms is great. Beds are comfortable.
The breakfast...well, yes, currently it is just muffins and bagels in the lobby/take back to your room and no place to sit and eat but apparently that is changing as one of the rooms on 2nd floor is in process of being converted to a Breakfast Room.
This is a mid-level hotel...pretty basic. It does NOT advertise having a spa or wellness centre as mentioned by one guest (who was here when we were...nothing the staff did seemed to satisfy her).
Hotel is in process of upgrading and improving/addressing past issues and doing well in that regard from what we saw.

Friendly, clean, value for money, staff also friendly to children, nice breakfast included, ask for room at the backside if you are a light sleeper due to road noise.

I am the General Manger of the Causeway Bay hotel and want to thank everyone for their review of my hotel. Especially the negative comments as I learn from them to improve my facility so the next guest will not have the same issue to deal with. Some things I cannot do anything about, ie: no spa, no wellness center, noise from traffic on Hiway #1 (16th Avenue) with the window open, having pets stay as we do advertise "pet-friendly," being 5 miles from downtown, which I can drive to in minutes (minutes in a city of a million plus is less than 15). Other things I can address to enhance the comfort of my guest - breakfast has been moved to RM #201 on the 2nd floor with added items, bread for toast, juice, hard-boiled eggs but breakfast at the Causeway Bay Calgary Hotel will never be bacon and eggs hot off the grill as I do not have kitchen facilities and no room to expand. So I will continue to concentrate on keeping the hotel clean and making the rooms comfortable with welcoming and friendly staff. Thank you to everyone past, present and future who chooses to stay with us. Welcome!
