East York Community Centre

The only one in the neighborhood or anywhere close by. Tiny library useful for pickups. I once found five dollars in the pool as a kid. Went right from the dryer to the candy machine after swimming. Great success! Confusing website.

My son is doing his bronze cross swimming here and enjoys it. The place is well kept with lots going on

I’ve been to this pool many times with my son, and now I’m starting to take my daughter! Great cute pool, it’s a bit cold but when you are in it for a bit you get used to the water. Highly recommend!!!

Nice little 25 meter pool with decent water temperature. Large ladies change room but need to bring your own Lock. Two open showers, two cubicle showers without doors, and two with doors, one of which is handicap accessible. The showers can be hot at times, occasionally cold. There's no temperature control. Nice gel soap is provided. There's three wall mounted dryers for hair. For some reason there's only a trickle of water from one of the two sinks and nothing from the other. It's fairly clean. The cost is reasonable. Capacity is limited due to the pandemic. The staff seem to be fairly friendly. You need to show proof of vaccination. I like it.

Just went for vaccine, but seemed to sufficient facilities for exercise.

Good place for kids soccer and karate,swim

It's a nice community center that hosts all kind of things for the neighbourhood. Covid testing, has a pool, does our annual meetings for our condo board, they do voting there. It's a great community hub.

Great place to come and exercise as well as take classes! Much to do here and lovely staff. I will be returning!

Decent gym and pool. Only grouse is they need to pay a bit more attention to clean-up. The locker rooms need more frequent cleaning and gym needs better cleaning. Most of the staff is helpful and the hours are pretty good. Wouldnt mind if they opened a bit earlier on the weekends as im an early bird!
