Doubletree By Hilton Halifax Dartmouth

I have yet to stay at this present hotel however I do work in the office tower adjacent to this building. When it was the Holiday Inn, prices were averaging $150-170. This is not the greatest section of town as the Holiday Inn staff at the time advised all their patrons not to leave the building after 5 pm as this is a high crime area, something the people @ Hilton kind of missed when doing their demographics research. I still work in the office building and you don't want to be outside after dark. Oh, by the way, the current prices are way too high. You can do better in Downtown Halifax.

The renovations are AMAZING; the front desk staff were the most accommodating, professional, warm and inviting I'd ever met there before, and the meeting room was perfect with an ample supply of glasses and ice water for our huge crowd. The temperature was perfect, and that's so vital in a meeting location. Thank you.

My grandmother made a reservation for 3 rooms at this hotel. She asked if it had a pool, the person on the phone said yes there is. When we arrived me and my cousins went exploring. We found out that the pool was closed. We were disapointed because the lady at the front desk never mentioned it. I wanted to order food so i called the restaurant it rang for 2 minutes and i decided to go downstairs and order it myself I found out that the menu that was in our room wasn't the menu the actually had because the kitchen wasn't fully renovated. All in all my experience here has been very poor!

Soft opening week. Great decor and atmosphere needs to be gone over again and fine tuned. Tempered glass shards on our balcony. Great friendly staff

We were so surprised to see the extent of the renovations at Doubletree Dartmouth. The rooms have a contemporary design and the addition of an indoor pool and expanded exercise facility make the stay more enjoyable. The front desk service is spot on.
