If you are a sushi lover, this gem of a restaurant is a must try! Make sure to call ahead for a reservation, there are probably less than 10 tables. Great atmosphere for a casual date or get together with a friend. The service was fantastic - quick, friendly, thorough, and attentive. Ordered the crab salad - dressing was so tasty, salmon sushi pizza - delicious, shrimp tempura - fried to perfection with light, flaky batter, volcano roll and lobster roll - delectable. The sweet and spicy sauce was sooo good. The fish was really fresh and great quality. Beautiful presentation!! I cant wait to return!! Solid 5* for sure!!! Thank you!!!
Was finally able to dine in at Doma after only doing take out for so long. The food was as good quality as always. Service friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking. Glad to see them still in business and always a great option to eat at.
I had been searching for a delicious sushi place in Burlington and am so glad I discovered Doma sushi. Their sushi is always fresh, delicious and beautiful. I know no matter what I order it’s going to be amazing. They always do their best to accommodate any dietary restrictions as well - and the service is very friendly and efficient! It’s always a pleasure to eat from here, all the way from ordering to the last bite of sushi! Vegetarian options: Great veggie options!
Ordered delivery because I heard a lot about this place. Wanted to know if it was actually as good as the reviews. The first bite I had blew me away. Such fresh and we'll prepared rolls. So delicious
Wow what an excellent experience! If you are a sushi lover and you have not been here, then you are missing out! The food is fresh and amazing, and the service is so friendly and inviting. Just be warned, it might ruin all other sushi for you.
Bought one box of Sushi, $33+tax, 16 pieces, 80% of them are made of one piece of rice and a slice of sashimi or raw chicken covered. Taste very normal. It’s not true Japanese restaurant.
I usually order through Ubereats, and it used to be SO good every single time. But the last 5 or 6 orders, the quality has been inconsistent. I always order the same thing, Salmon Dinner. Sometimes the quality and freshness is top notch that makes the higher price point well worth it. But lately, I’ve been getting not as fresh salmon…quality is comparable to an AYCE place which is so disappointing. It’s still good, but I don’t appreciate the inconsistency. I’ve ordered on weekdays, weekends, prime dinner time, or near closing time, thinking it would make a difference, but it doesn’t.
The absolute best sushi/maki/sashimi in Burlington/Oakville/Hamilton. Very highly recommend this restaurant for the quality and service. Sometimes the wait for takeout is longer 40-60 minutes on busier nights but it’s absolutely worth it!
where should I start the father guy behind glass cutting the fish is a creep and a perv, the rest of the family have no manners and are very rude.some of the most disgusting people you'll ever meet very racist don't come here to eat. These people give a bad name to the korean community as well as an insult to the art of sushi.
My friend and I have a Christmas tradition of a sushi lunch. We experimented with a new restaurant this year and weren’t disappointed. A very quiet restaurant in a busy strip mall. When we walked in there weren’t many customers but the chefs were busy, it appears they have a big takeout business. We ordered the chirashi sushi lunch and the dynamite and California lunch. The rice was very fresh as was the fish and it was very good quality. We shared the lunches and both enjoyed the taste, the best in Burlington. When the bill came we were very surprised at how reasonable the price was. Will definitely be back but won’t wait till next Christmas. Highly recommended.
