I came here on a Friday around noon and was the only one dining so it surprised me when the service I received was basically non existent. It was a good thing I had my own water bottle as I would have been parched otherwise. The sushi itself is okay but there is better quality out there. Portion size was good. I had ordered one of the sushi combo lunches and asked for a substitution for the tuna which the server completely forgot about when they brought my dish.
Sushi is fresh, place is okay. But the washrooms should be cleaned. There is no reason why they were dirty when we were the only people at the restaurant today. They happen to open up on Valentine’s Day which was on a Tuesday which is usually the day they close, so that’s why no one was there. Service was excellent in the other hand.
A last minute decision to eat out on Family day weekend Monday night. We were so glad we chose Ikki. The appetisers were awesome and the Sushi was yummy. Never had such a choice especially for Vegans. It was quiet and the service was quick. Definitely going back there soon.
The portions are quite huge for the fried foods. We order a 1 PC fried salmon belly and got 2 huge chunks, same with the sushi pizza. I would say be careful when ordering fried food cause the portions are usually at least double what you expect it to be. The fish is fairly fresh and marbled. All the food tastes freshly fried. Though the sushi was good they are a bit heavy on the rice which makes sense for AYCE. We came in around 1-2pm and sort of just assumed it's a lunch menu and was a bit shocked to get hit with a $40 each bill but again that's mostly our fault. Staff started off fairly attentive but ignored a bit near the end. The restaurant wasn't that busy either.
I ordered and picked up. They were quick very pleasant. Their quality of sushi is excellent, super fresh. Next time we are going to do a sit down. I would recommend to all my friends and family.Food: 5/5
We went on Monday 13th Feb for an early valentine treat to be honest we had just walked out of August 8 as the service was so bad we hadn’t even ordered yet and left they were extremely rude in there. Ikki saved the day for me. Everything was yummy. I have been there before and it was the same lady as last time and the service was fine. I have no idea why people are saying the service is poor as she was perfectly fine with us. I am not one that likes the serving staff to hover the table so maybe some people do. Everything was made as we ordered and was very fresh.
We had heard about this place and decided to try a takeout and ordered online for a specific pickup time. When went to pickup they did not have the food ready and in fact asked if we had ordered online and had to look up the order. We had to wait for them to prepare the food 20 minutes. We admit that they did offer a small discount on the cost of the food because we had to wait. When we got it home to eat it was of reasonable quality, but not the best. There was too much sticky rice around the Sushi ordered and the so called fresh Sushi tasted a bit off. We have had better Sushi at other local Restaurants. We might try these guys again, but their prices are a bit too high and if they are as disorganized as this first time we will never come back.
Ordered take out from Ikki Sushi and was impressed by how quickly they prepared our order and how delicious the food was. Thank you for a great take out lunch! Ordered Combos 805, 806, 807 and 808...which included Miso soup and spring rolls.
I had ordered my food not to long before close and they still made it for me. It looks like it was still prepared to the best of their ability and tasted great. Appreciate the excellent service.
don’t usually leave reviews unless it’s actually terrible. all the fish was actually chewy, and when i talked to the lady after i already paid just to let her know, not expecting her to do anything about it which was no problem but i was flabergasted when she tried to tell me that the fish was supposed to be chewy. So ya just keep in mind that u might have to pick out the chewy fish ikki sushi is infact icky sushi
