Dim Sum Now

Love that you can order dim sum in smaller quantities here. Tried their shrimp dumpling, chiu chow dumpling, and their mango pudding. The dumplings were really good. It’s hard to believe it’s from a food court. I actually find it better than some of the dim sum restaurants in town! My niece loved the mango pudding and devoured it. She loved the pieces of real mango in it! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu items!

I ordered the mango sago, crispy egg yolk balls and the rice noodles with mixed sauce. The mango sago didn't have much mango flavour in it. There were chunks of mango but when drinking it tasted more like milk. There was a lot of sago in it though. The rice noodles with mixed sauce was pretty delicious. The rice noodles were a bit overcooked but the sauce was quite nice. The crispy egg yolk balls are my favourite. Everytime I come here I've ordered them. They are really creamy on the inside and have a strong egg yolk flavour. When eaten hot they don't lose to any dimsum place out there. Obviously my review this time isn't based on just this one visit or else my rating would have been lower. I've had their other dim sum items and they are definitely made with quality ingredients. The portions aren't huge which is great for small groups. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area and definitely get the crispy egg yolk balls if you are a fan of salty egg yolks.

Came here for lunch and ordered the Steamed Meat Patty with Presevered Vegetables on Rice. The combo set was served with a delicious dried bok choy with pork and ginger soup. This was indeed Cantonese Comfort food at its finest! The meat patty was tender and flavourful with a little drizzle of sweet soy sauce. The soup was just as how I remember traditional "house" soups tasting. Also ordered the Mango Sago drink. This was refreshing and like other reviewers stated, it could use a bit more mango flavour, otherwise it was fine. With the final cost of this set totaling only $13.50, how can this not be a deal?! There are other places in this food fair that receives a lot of mention, but Dim Sum Now shows that they are more than their namesake. The service was kind and friendly.

Heard about this place from a friend and wanted to give it a try. To me, going to dim sum restaurant is only for special occasions and also have to go through the trouble of making reservations and looking for people to join as it is hard to order everything when there is not enough people. I really like the idea at Dim Sum Now. Its more casual and the portion is smaller which is good for 1-2 people. On top of that, their food is delicious and very very good pricing! I believe their food and dessert are made in house. After trying for the first time I already went back for second on the next day lol

Good DimSum, made to order and fresh out the steamer. That said missing the whole tea experience and chatter, makes it a more isolated event, even when you are in company. Tea culture is definitely missed here. Food is par for pricing, some items not traditional in form and taste with the modernized taken for a reason. Sampler definitely had some let downs.

Good dim sum made fresh to order. Bean curd roll was my favorite.

Pretty good overall. They make it fresh so wait time is around 10 mins.

Surprisingly good find at a little food court. We had the dim sum sampler and they were all good quality. The mango drink dessert was just OK for my taste. Will return for dim sum.
