Diamond Sweets & Restaurant

The girl who takes the orders has no customer service skills whatsoever but that food is really good (if she doesn't mess up your order). Medium is spicy so be careful what you ask for.

This Indian Restaurant has a lot to offer in terms of sweets. They make them fresh everyday and the prices are affordable. The girls that are usually working the front till are very friendly and have a sense of humor. They have some seats in the waiting area if someone wants to sit and eat food as they also serve other foods than sweets. Overall, I give them 4 stars because the parking in the back is very difficult at busy times.

This is a tough call. Food here is generally fantastic. Prices are great for what you get. But I think the growth of the neighbourhood has overwhelmed them. Very disorganized when it's busy. Very frustrating to wait 45 mins longer than promised on pickup. But I'm positive it's because they just can't handle the busy times. Go when it's slower and you'll appreciate the experience. Also, ask for no foam takeout. They don't seem to realize how bad it is, but also that some dishes actually melt the foam.

The food is really good... but the take-out service is lousy. I keep going back because they make the most delicious food. But every time I call-in an order, I end-up waiting an extra half an hour before it's ready. It almost seems like they don't even start cooking your order, until you arrive to pick it up! So annoying...
