I remember going here when I was 10, and 20 years later, I don't think a single thing has changed. (That's not necessarily bad, it's just dated) We had a group, and our server was friendly. Food took a really long time, a good hour from the time we ordered. I had a steak, scallop, and prawn dish that was the nights special. They forgot my seafood, and when it came 20 minutes later, it was completely unseasoned. The steak was also completely unseasoned. The proteins were all well cooked, but I've never had to put my own salt and pepper on a steak that cost me over $35. Two of the others had the prime rib, and it was very tough, the schnitzels got good reviews. We all ordered dessert and coffee, but they ran out of coffee, so only 2 got it. My bill for my entree, dessert and coffee was over $60 with a tip, which I wouldn't mind at all if it was a great meal, but it wasn't.

We went there as a group for our office Christmas party. Orders were taken and arrived promptly. The staff were cordial and friendly. I had the Red Snapper Almondine, served with Lemon-butter sauce, fresh vegetables and rice pilaf. I loved my food. My colleagues ordered different meals and also enjoyed it. I'm rating a 4 because portion sizes were small. But everything else was great.

Don't order the appetizer. They are not worth their price tag. We had a large table and ordered 4 appetizer to try different things and was so frustrated. The portions were minuscule. The space is very old, it feels old and everything on the decor make is it even older. The waitress was kind and helpful, she did a great job managing our large table. The Main were not only delicious but well served. So skip the appetizers and stick with the mains.

This place is such a gem. There's really nothing else like it in the area, which means when they go it'll be a sad day for Cloverdale. Make sure you save room for dessert, if you eat dinner here--served off of an old-fashioned dessert trolley :)

We were a party of 7, my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, the service was 1st class as was the food. We've had the ribeye with Yorkshire pudding...mmm Others in our party had different schnitzel's..all very good! We brought our own cake, there was a service fee for serving it per person, Very reasonable prices. The server, unfortunately, we didn't get his name. He was excellent, on every level..attentive and efficient, very helpful!
