Don't beware of the dog, BEWARE of the OWNER. This is a good place to eat breakfast (I have enjoyed going there for breakfast for many years), and the only reason it rated only two stars with me is because of how rudely I was treated by the owner. Apparently there are rules for eating here when the owner is present. The rules are NOT posted, and you discover the rules only if you happen to violate them. Today I broke the rules of enjoying my food for too long, while occupying a table with a good friend. The rule here is "do not linger" (there was no one in line for a table). There are many other rules at this restaurant, that I am not aware of, and the staff and food are great (except for the owner). I noted that other reviews have already commented on the rudeness of the owner, so my recommendation is that if you are going to eat here, phone ahead for a reservation so you can get a table when the owner is NOT there.

It's always a pleasure visiting this De Dutch, probably the most cozy of all their locations. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The food is great with delicious pankoeken and breakfasts.

We won a gift certificate to this restaurant and I’m so happy we did. The meal was prompt and delicious. And the service was outstanding! Great Sunday morning brunch :)

They have amazing food I went there with my family to eat food and it was the best breakfast I have ever had in my life, there pankckaes are delicious and the different varieties are great. I love the milkshakes and it's a very nice and clean setting.
