I order KHOYA GULABJAMUN from skip the dishes and they sent me this. I called the store and asked what is the difference between khoya and regular gulabjamun at their store since there was a price difference on skip. The girl said its the same and by mistake on skip it appears different with different prices and she hung up. Disgusting and rude customer service. If you don’t know what you are selling on skip, why the hell are you even having it then.

I love the taste of the food and preparation of this location. Serving quantity is also descent. Sometimes while ordering Amritsari Kulcha they serve less quantity of Chana which they need to improve as well adding salad.

We ordered the kulcha plate, chole bhature, Punjabi lassi as well as mango lassi. All the food was fantastic, huge helpings. The kulcha and chole were piping hot. We also took home kaju katli. The decor is non-existent, so if food is your priority, then this is the place to head to.

Went there during Diwali gift purchase. I saw few couples were using plastic gloves and eating the food and touching other foods disgusting . Why would someone do that. I told the owner or manager there and they told they will inform the customer but the damage is done. They need to have specific instructions not to taste food.

always get my pakora's from here. they are so soft and oil free. now their new deal of chole bhathure comes with everything they advertise for. The prices are genuine too.

Very bad experience. On tik tok they wrote 7$ chana bhatura but they charge more in reality. Also, no sweet dish with that. Not tasty very unwelcoming staff. The girl at counter too much attitude no greeting . Only showing attitude and laughing

Great customer service. Food is really good and staff is really nice. I definitely recommend their food. Was looking for india like Burfi, found it here.

Their Chaat was pathetic, loaded with yogurt mainly. They need to work on their attitude, customer service was awful! Felt unwelcomed over there. Baked cookies were overly expensive. Will never go back again. I took my relatives from Calgary along based on reviews but was so disappointed by my decision.

I ordered sweets for rakhdi. But they were stale. I would not recommend to anyone.Worst expierence ever.

I had the WORST experience with this restaurant. For my sisters birthday we ordered 3 plates of channa bhatura. My family started eating and soon realized that there was MULTIPLE large pieces of what appeared to be a dark blue rubber from a glove embedded in more than one bhatura. Needless to say we were all shocked when we saw this and immediately stopped eating. It appeared that pieces of the rubber glove had been cooked inside of bhatura and somehow the cook in their establishment did not notice that pieces of their glove was missing when preparing the food. I called Dhaliwal Sweets right away and spoke to an employee who preceded to LAUGH when I had told her what we had found in the food. After I told her this was completely unacceptable and a huge health hazard, she said she would speak to her manager and call me back. After about 5 minutes I got a phone call back and the employee told me that I had to bring the food back and show them the rubber glove that we had found in the food in order for me to get a refund. I did not care about a refund at that point but I wanted them to see in person what we had found in our food as it seemed as if they did not believe me. I then drove from Langley back to Surrey so that I could show them in person. Once I got there and spoke to the manager who completely underplayed the situation and said it would be hard for the cook to notice the glove in the food when preparing it. It was a bright blue coloured glove so I found that hard to believe. They ended up refunding my money after this entire debacle. Not only did this completely ruin my sisters birthday dinner but also the thought of what kind of chemicals we had just ingested was disturbing. On top of that they were completely unapologetic regarding the entire situation. Not once did anyone from that establishment apologize for what had happened. For a company who is well known in the lower mainland for their food and even catering for weddings, I am shocked at their carelessness and lack of remorse over this huge mishap. I will never be going back to this restaurant and would advise people to think twice before eating there.
