Sirka Gourmat Takeout

Totally surprised with Sirka! I believed the store was originally a hole-in-the-wall pizza place but may be a year ago got new owner and new name. It is definitely a takeout place but I am amazed with the care they did in packaging the food. The true test is with the food itself. The butter chicken was very flavorful and had many good sized chicken pieces. Same too with the lamb korma. Other places would typically give more sauce but Sirka strikes a good balance on amount of sauce and meat. Look for the opportunity to try out the other dishes, including the pizza offerings.

Excellent food. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Canada. The food is always fantastic no matter what I order. Considering the quality and quantity the prices are very reasonable. The tandoori fish Cod is to die for. The 36 hours Dal reminds you of hundred years old Kesar Da Dhaba. The only place you are going to get this delicious Amritsari Kulchas out of Amritsar is at Sirka. We are so fortunate to have this place in Surrey.

Perfect take out shop for all food, convenient location and accessibility. Well done interior then most of the other take out places where there is no air conditioner and you have to wait for your food order. Basically the waiting area is three seater area with magazine to read and cool air while you wait for your order to be ready. Guys cooking the delicious delicacies are professional chefs with 20 plus experience of working in executive hotels as chefs. So expect finger licking food. I tried pakora and indian style coffee and i must say I didn’t go to any other pakora place after this. Then i ordered goat curry which was cooked to perfection and not too oily but more close to home cook goat-curry. Loved it. Naan bread is fresh and crispy which just melts in your mouth. Its my go to takeout place in surrey. Everytime I ordered food, i would just eat it instantly and never clicked a picture of food to post here

Today on new year eve I ordered a lot of snacks and food from them, but quantity is very disappointing. Online they show paneer tikka have 7 pieces but it came with 5 pieces. When i asked them why 5 pieces they say we have given big pieces. Soya chap is also very substandard  and moong dal seekh is taste less. PLEASE STOP MAKING FOOL TO PEOPLE.

Heard such high raving reviews about Sirka.. we were super excited to order food from here for the first time today! The food was well seasoned for sure.. but the chicken - all raw from inside and pink.. the kids didn’t eat at all! And the goat was overcooked.. very rubbery! Presentation great and packing good - but very disappointed with the overcooked goat and undercooked chicken!

Wonderful place to order mouth watering food, if you miss Indian Food then this place is surely for you, you will get an amazing service with tasty food. I have tried their Mirch Pakora, Soya Champ, Kasundi Paneer Tikka, Stuffed Kulcha, Butter Chicken, Rice Kheer and Flooda Kulfi each and every item was tastier than the other. Must visit place.

Absolutely the presentation/packing, the best out there. Their dishes have a certain tangy taste which reminds you of the name "sirka" with almost every bite. Butter chicken has sweet and tangy taste as it hits your mouth. Chicken pieces are big and the quantity is good so far. Kadhayi chicken has very good taste of "khada masala". They give their signature "sirka pyaaz" with it. UPDATE: The service and taste are deteriorating gradually. Tried the Sirka pyaaz paneer, it really disappointed me a lot. It has a really strong taste of Elaichicardamom, it can be renamed as Elaichi pyaar paneer. Also, the naan is getting very thick which makes is HARD TO CHEW.

Tried kulcha at sirka , very nicely done. Crust was Krispy, coated with coriander and spices. Stuffing was good. Will definitely recommend. Food: 4/5

Excellent food! Unfortunately, when we checked the bill that was attached to our email, they had added a 10% tip without telling us. We would have been more than happy to add the tip on our own and possibly more, but that was extremely unethical. We had ordered chicken curry and fish tikka, both of which were fantastic and very delicious.

First time at Sirka and the food is really good! But like some other review said if you order from their website, there is a 10% tips automatically added to your bill and they don't mention it when you pay. Funny enough there's a tips option on the credit card machine and you might end up double tipping if you didn't notice it. I read the review so payed attention to it and skipped the 2nd tips sorry!. I think it'd be fair to just include that portion in the food price so no false expectation. It's worth it but just don't like to be fooled.
