Bandra Cafe

We chanced upon this cafe when looking up another restaurant and we weren’t disappointed at all. The place is a must try if you’re missing the flavours from Mumbai. The ambience is good and so is the food. Service seems to have improved a lot since our food was at the table within 15 minutes of the order. The cafe even has a mini bakery and the dessert menu is simply inviting and yet makes a bold statement.

Newly opened restaurant. Excellent customer service. My friend couldn't eat the Cauliflower dish because of a food allergy so they brought out an extra similar dish for no charge. The food was very good with lots of menu choices. The mango Lassi was yummy. Outdoor seating available.

Amazing place to have Indian food such as pav bhaji, veg noodles and they have very good chat portions as well. The ambiance is very good. They have games to play such as chess and carom to pass your time while you wait for your food to come. The place also offers amazing range of desserts.

A great restaurant for Indian foods. Food quality is awesome, so is the food decoration and their service. I personally love spicy food.This restaurant does provide spicy foods with an amazing taste. Environment is clean and decorations of restaurant is so pretty! I will recommend this restaurant to the people who like/want to have a delicious and great looking/smelling Indian food. It was quite good... kind of a fusion of Indian and Western food. The server was attentive. There were not many vegetarian options, but the manager said they could remove meat from any dish. The music was loud and didn't really fit the decor.

Amazing food and atmosphere! Felt like I was transported to Bandra with the food and vibes of the place. We ordered the Chicken Tacos, Pav Bhaji and Hot and Sour soup - all three dishes were 10/10!! We also ordered the Kit Kat milkshake which was heavenly. Chicken tacos were better than the tacos I had in Mexico! Highly recommend this place. You won’t be able to find this type of food anywhere else. The flavours and menu items are very unique and tasty!

Amazing ambient delicious food and respectful staff. I went there yesterday and today also I am again planning to with my friends. The food literally remind me of Bombay. Chai and pav bhaji was so amazing. The staff served us so lovingly and respectfully. It’s a must recommended place if you love street food.

Bandra Cafe has an atmosphere that will make you come back again and again. From the lounge area where you can play carrom with friends to the warm, modern, and minimalistic dining area, everything in this restaurant will make you feel cozy. The co-owner Lionel and the waiter Ananth made our visit special. Ananth was hilarious and was very welcoming. The two of them were constantly checking in to get feedback as the restaurant recently opened in November 2021 and having conversations about the food, our backgrounds, and the idea for this restaurant. The mural even features a drawing of a church in the far left where the co-owner Lionel used to frequent in Bandra. The food was yummy but the quantity is small compared to the price you're paying. The keema bomb aloo chap was fluffy and delicious when paired with the mint chutney. I highly recommend the Afghani chicken kebab, which has a yogurt and cream sauce that feels thick and gooey like cheese. The mutton ghee roast and pork vindaloo - despite not being Bombay dishes - are very savoury. The paratha was hard however and the kulfi falooda was sour.

This place is really cool to spend time with friends. And the food was also really amazing. We tried veg and nonveg too. Both were really palatable. The interior and aesthetic really get back to you in mumbai. Overall its a wonderful place to chill out.
