Dennis’ No Frills

I love no frills but their customer service is in serious need of an upgrade. My last time there I was barely looked in the eye, my food was basically thrown onto the belt where I had to rush to grab my things because they had moved onto the next person and were putting it all on the same belt. The time before that I got there 5 minutes before close, out of breath in search of one item and was told by 2 different staff members that they were closed.. I left before 8pm - without my item, as it wasn't in stock. The time before that all of our items were just thrown down the belt, no care at all. Asked for bags and had them just tossed all over the place. Just young, rushed and unfriendly staff. Really puts a stink to the whole place.

Not much to really report on this grocery store on Welland Avenue. Usually it's very well-stocked. During the farming months on the paydays for the migrant workers it can be very busy. But they seem to have enough cashiers open and the lines move along. Very clean store.

Usually very clean and low prices. Can be busy at peak times but nothing too crazy. Open late which is nice.

Great place for booze and snacks and souvenirs. Owner is a very friendly person who takes time to talk to you about Freak street. Sorry Freemont street.
