Very mixed review. Stayed for 3 nights; but housekeeping was very inadequate. On one hand, the room given was very decent. However rooms were not cleaned for guests staying more than one night it seems. The first night we came back to freshen up for dinner around 5pm but the room was not cleaned. No do not disturb sign on the door. Advised we were leaving for dinner, and then room was cleaned. The next night, we came back around 5 once again and the room was not cleaned. At this point, we weren’t going out until after 7pm which is when their “cleaning rooms routine” ends for the day. The third night… same story. I would imagine housekeeping was busy for a weekend but not having rooms cleaned at 5pm is 3 nights in a row is not the greatest impression. In terms of room space and location; those were good.
Yes, it’s an older hotel and the rooms could probably use a refresh.nBut, they are quite large and mine had a fantastic view. And I don’t come to Montreal to sit in my hotel room.nThe gym and pool are incredible. Both are among the best equipped and largest of any hotel I’ve seen.nThere are also two wonderful play rooms for young children, which is not something you find often.nThe staff and service were excellent, very attentive and friendly, and the hotel restaurant also very nice.nFinally, the location can’t be beat, with countless things nearby.
Rooms very dated. Our room wasn’t ready even though it was about 4.30 when we arrived but they gave us 2 nights free parking as compensation so was happy with that. They need to have some spare bedding available as I asked for another duvet and they couldn’t provide it initially as they only had one per room and none spare. The towels and bed have seen better days. It is also quite far away from the Old Port. About a 30 minute walk. The bar at the hotel was nice and the swimming pool was really good too. I think overall it’s a 3 rather than a four star hotel.
Had a wonderful stay at the Delta . Central location easy walk to most areas. Staff were great quick check in. They even had treat bags for our dogs. You won't be disappointed, clean rooms friendly staff. Highly recommend the hotel. Looking forward to our stay next year
My wife and I visited Montreal for the first time and we lucked out with a great hotel. My brother Tom recommended this place. First class all the way. Marie-Josee Pepin the Guest Service Supervisor took great care of us and we will be back. Highly recommend
