De Rice

I normally always get the smoothies, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Today I wanted to try something new and taste the food on the menu .. NEVER AGAIN . I ordered pot stickers that looked like a giant ball and wasn’t even appetizing, Hawaiian FRIED rice , thinking it would be good .. NO . Plain white rice , no soy sauce , with lettuce and giant pieces of chicken with very few pineapple. The food is def . Not worth that ugly , rude attitude the owner has .

De Rice is the best Chinese food on the South Side if not in the entire city. The fried rice is exceptional I also would highly recommend the crab rangoon and the tofu dishes. The portions are tremendous. The owners are friendly. There is nothing more to say!

we love de rice, we’ve been ordering from them for years! they’re friendly good people and the food is consistently incredible. always delivered hot and fresh, easily my fav takeout spot. we love their crab rangoon, cold springs rolls, and thai iced coffee.

Excellent. My mother started me eating this restaurant Chinese food. Always fresh, good tasting. The lady that runs the place called my mother mama. My mother's gone now. Been gone 4 years, but the food has not changed. The shrimp fried rice and beef chop suey is the the best. The vegetables are not over cooked. They are crunchy with flavor. She always ask me. "How are you doing?"

Over priced and the chicken tasted like fish they must cook it in the same pan paid all that money and threw half of it out

This little out of the way spot was a hit! My fiance suggested it and it may have been her best pick ever. The service was almost non-existent and the atmosphere was almost clinical. What they lack in those areas they more then compensate for in the elegance and excellent tasting food. We ordered some of our usual favorites and were not disappointed. I was blown away with how they nailed it on every dish. It was more than I would normally hope for but exactly what the doctor ordered. Only ate there once but it's safe to say that I'm a regular.

Not sure what the point of ordering a veggie fried rice and a veggie egg foo yung...for it to be almost no vegetables in either. Rice is an Asian staple and that is exactly what was given. In order to post at least 1 star has to be given, but its definitely a 0

The food is pretty good BUT the service is HORRIBLE! The lady at the front who also answers the phone is very rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend supporting this business. Paying customers deserve respect. Don’t take my black dollar if you can’t respect me. NEVER AGAIN !

This is my favorite go-to for an Asian restaurant. The owner and her husband are always super sweet to my mother and me. I don’t eat shrimp or pork, but my mother does. However, they are well aware of my dietary needs and will label everything properly. Quick story: My office is down the street and I ordered lunch for my coworkers which included shrimp and pork. When I picked up my order the owner asked if I was feeling okay. That’s how concerned she is about her customers. Also, this restaurant does not use MSG. And have some great vegetarian options. The only drawback is I had to give one, is that they are not open on Sundays. But, this is understandable because of the large amount of prep work that I would assume any restaurant has to do. If you prefer to order via an app, I recommend ordering via DoorDash.

This place is not consistent with their products. I once bragged on their barbecue ribs,but I cannot give their ribs a thumbs up,now. Please go back to preparing good barbecue ribs. THANK YOU.Delivery: Yes
