I was invited to meet here once for a work-related meeting and stopped here again today after wondering where to go for an afternoon breakfast. I understand its popularity. Fast friendly service, good food, nice, clean atmosphere and old school charm. My date asked; "You've only eaten here twice?" Guess I'll have to change that.Food: 5/5

A week ago, I was there for the first time having breakfast with my boyfriend. We ordered a ham omelet and a vegetable omelet, both huge and amazing. We loved it ! The service was excellent, the waitress was very friendly and kind. I will definitely come back to try something else from their menu as it look very good.Food: 5/5

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I've been coming here since we moved to Chicago more than 10 years ago and the food/people/ambience remain excellent. The coffee is perfect diner coffee, the menu has something for everyone, affordable prices and large portions. Many diners in area that are not up to par but these guys exceed.

Food is very affordable, large portions and has great flavor. Their Grecian chicken, quesadillas and salads are delicious. The waitresses and staff are always friendly and efficient. We love this home town diner feel.

We've passed by this place alot the past 2 years & today was the day I said "let's do it". So glad my son & I dropped by. This place has such a homey restaurant feel...similar to old school Denny's but better! We decided on dinner & it was great cheeseburger, fries, lemonade for my kids followed by clarion vanilla ice cream; salmon, veggies, homemade mashed potatoes, & salad for me. Our waitress was so kind & checked on us often despite the dinner rush. Will certainly be back to try their breakfast & desserts!!! Kid-friendliness: Kid menu with crayons to keep him busy Parking: Open parking shared with neighboring stores but within a strip mall so not horrible at all

Always worth the value here, not too many places like this around anymore. You get great service, good food and dessert with your meal! Love it!

This is exactly the place you imagine when you think of an old school family diner. Overly large menu with every item you can imagine with horribly average photos? Check. Place so large it could fill 10 parties of 20 that all walk in at once after church? Check. Coffee and pie at night or pigs in a blanket in the morning? Check. Or maybe you just want a cup of creamy soup, a club, and a big basket of random mixed bread? They got that too. It ain't fancy but it's everything you want when you think of a family diner. They get one star off for having a full bar and not utilizing it properly. You know what I like with my amazing waffle with whipped cream in the morning? A mimosa. You know what I dont like with my waffle? A $13 price tag for one mimosa. In a city that you can spit in any direction and find a bottomless deal for $20, it just seems like a wasted opportunity.

Have been coming here for about 20 years and the food is delicious! Also the staff makes you feel like a part of the family. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish, but I can’t get enough of their patty melts and monte cristos. Not to mention, their soups are ever so amazing. You also get a good portion for what you pay for.Takeout: Yes
