What has happened to this Dairy Queen?? I work close by and have been going here a couple of times a week for many many years. The sevice has really gone down hill. And did anyone there take a food safe course? Last time I went ,got takeout, upon opening my lunch the fries in the box were about 7 fries,I guess they all spilt out in the warmer. I see staff eating food and dripping sauce all over the place. It used to be well run!! I and all my co-workers will never go there again. Way to lose a lot of hospital business. Take the francise back DQ ,they are giving you a bad rep. !!!

Went in at 945 tonight to order some food. The guy at the till took my order without a problem. The manager, Jesse, saw the order on the screen in kitchen and literally yelled out “OH COME ON! That’s a bit much!” Then proceeded to storm around the kitchen making my food. He was banging things, grumbling to himself, and was visibly angry that he had to make food. It made me feel very, very uncomfortable. He really shouldn’t be in customer service. I genuinely never want to eat at this location again, it was such a terrible experience. And this wasn’t the first time; this has happened many times.

the past few times I've visited this location I've received poor quality service from the shift supervisor. My sentences get cut off when I'm placing my order & I always feel like I'm being rushed. Thankfully the guys in the kitchen always cook a good meal! Update: went back yesterday, they had a "cash only" sign in the window, but the door was locked. Staff were still inside working, but there were no customers. I assumed some technical error forced them to close early, which is understandable, so I knocked on the door/window to get their attention and ask what was going on. But then 4 staff members just stood there looking at me with a blank stare & wouldn't come to the door. I got back into my car and watched 3 other customers do the same thing, before someone finally opened the door and let 2 people in to buy ice cream. The next customer walked in through the now unlocked door & stood at the till waiting to order. A few minutes go by & she is sent out of the store empty handed by an employee. This was such a weird experience that made such little sense to me. The owner of this business needs to care about it more. Please properly train your staff & managers to handle these types of situations properly & politely.

Filthy premises, wrong order made, dude making my cone ran his filthy finger up the cone to catch the melting drip. I reported it to DQ Canada and they responded saying they had forwarded info to the franchise owner. I've never had one acknowledgment from the owner so I guess he/she doesn't care about the business. I've tried a couple of times since just in hopes it was better and it's not. Terrible! We will go to Hillside from now on.
