Total SCAMnnWe reserved two rooms, room for the most part we’re ok, the balconies safety is questionable as the railing moves. Beds were comfy.nnBreakfast we had 7 people and they only gave 4 breakfasts?? So ended up paying $12.99 for a kids breakfast she ate one pancake.nnBowling, if that’s what they want to call it. 2 balls only that take 45-1 min to get back, pins don’t reset oh and $10 per lane for 30 minutes. arcade was a joke, most broken and again extra cost.nMini putt was completely disgusting carpet over wood with a hole. Also extra money.nnPool was ok very chlorinated eyes burned just sitting in the pool area, but my kids are easily pleased with some water and friends.nnThe guest service reps don’t speak very good English and quite rude.nnTook us over 30 min to check out.nnParking $12 per night per vehiclennQuite an expensive nightnn$580 for 2 rooms plus $75 in extra charges for parking, bowling.nnI don’t mind paying this amount for quality and professionalism.nnThis hotel lacks both.nnI would never return.
Excellent location in downtown Kitchener, close to restaurants and shopping. The staff were friendly and supportive, the AC in the room was noisy. I already informed the front desk to do something about it. Overall the staying was good and comfortable for one night. I would stay again at this hotel.
Everyone was very nice at the hotel. It's very well located and close to everything downtown. They also have a pool, gym and an arcade that I didn't use lol.nnA few things to note are that the doors are quite thin and I could hear everyone's conversation as they walked past my room. The A/C is also weird, every 10 or 15 mind it turns on and blasts cold air to the max for 5 minutes then turns off- nothing crazy but a little annoying.nnI would stay here again and didn't have any issues in my room.
Stayed here for 3 nights last weekend and I don't think I've been in such a terrible hotel before. First off you have to unload your baggage at the front door, there's no where to park and bring a cart to afterwards. Doesn't seem like a big deal but when there's 9 cars out front it's difficult to wait. Got to my room and slowly learned how gross it was. Mold in the shower, what looks like fluid stains on the door, food crumbles around the bed, coffee maker I didn't dare use, the head board of the bed wasn't even cleaned. Just lazy. Each night there were people running in the halls on the floor above me, each night I called the front desk only for nothing to be done, it only stopped later at night when I assume they went to bed. Also I had to call from my cell phone as my room phone didn't work. They make you pay for parking in a garage with many homeless people in it, one of which was injecting himself with something about 10 feet from my car. The front desk asked how my stay was and I voiced a few of my concerns and how unhappy I was, a week later and no one has even bothered to email me. AC in the room worked, that was the only positive. Staff just do not care, take your money and if you have a problem good luck you're on your own.nnAfter posting this review I'm sure someone had to post a response but no one has reached out to me by email or phone call. I stayed in room 460. Yes I'm sure you posted a response but as far as paying $900 plus for 3 days to live in filth I would appreciate some compensation. I have pictures if other would like proof
The Room: 2 Queen Beds/4 people occupancynThe room was very small for the price. I sat on one of the 2 chairs in the room and it broke which resulted in my injuring my back and having a very painful and uncomfortable weekend.nnThe room was clean, AC worked great. Came with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge.nnThe Staff:nThat being said, the staff were kind and apologetic and relaxed the chair right away.nnBreakfast: BuffetnThere is a breakfast buffet was nice but at $20 per person we found it to be expensive. We only got to experience it sd it was comped due to the broken chair and getting hurt. Again, ther staff in the dining area were lovely and welcoming.nnParking: $12/daynI'm not sure how you feel about paid parking, but when your hotel room is quite costly I feel that parking should be free.nnLocation:nIf you want to stay in the middle of Kitchener with easy access to the public transport then this is a good location for you.nnOver All:nNot a bad stay, we would choose somewhere further out of town with free parking and bigger rooms for that price.
