I’ve used this clinic for a while and have really loved it until now. The person I keep getting through too on reception is so rude. I’ve never dealt with them until recently but it’s making me no longer want to call the clinic. I just called because I am struggling to arrange an appointment for a test they referred me too. I called for advice and the receptionist said ‘there is nothing I can do, you’re on your own’. I had already called the place they referred me to multiple times so I asked if they could provide me with their email since I couldn’t get through on the phone. The receptionist replied with ‘do you want their number?’ and I said ‘no I have the number’ and before I could again ask if they had an email she said ‘ok bye’ and hung up.
this clinic was dope in 2019 and early 2020, and i made appointments for all my regular tests and drop ins. The walk in clinic was the easiest for me because I worked in the area at the time, it was big, and they had lots of doctors, even if the wait times were sometimes a little ridiculous. The last time I went was early March 2020, right when restrictions started. I believe I waited about 3 hours in the waiting room, and another hour in the doctors office before anyone saw me. Since early 2020, this clinic has completely stopped doing anything, i'm not sure they even have patients. I cannot find a way to make an appointment, they closed their online wait list, and I believe they are not a walk-in clinic any more. They say they only take past patients, of which I am one, but there is no information on how to make a booking. Calling yields nothing. I have requested my medical records twice, no response. They don't respond to emails at all. I am aware there is a pandemic, and the strain on doctors offices are heinous. I'm OK with waiting, so long as I'm actually responded to at some point. I send emails weeks/months apart, waiting for a response, and have received nothing. Phone calls never go through, and having worked as a receptionist, phone calls are stupid anyway. Emails are WAY easier to keep track of who emailed first, who has simple inquiries, and who needs more information. Technology is available to them to make their work a little easier, but they are not taking advantage of it. They aren't worth it any more. All the five star reviews are old. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to drop in so I can try to get a copy of my records, though I expect to find a locked door and nobody inside. I'm convinced the place isn't actually there, perhaps it got sucked into some liminal space and only exists if you manage to find a staff member to look at lmao. I suppose this is the world we live in now. I'm going to report this business as closed.
The doctors are hit and miss with quality. Some have been great and listen to you. Others, just listen to you for a bit, but then talk and talk like a politician or lawyer, never truly listening to you. The front desk staff are absolutely rude beyond belief. One hung up on me before I could ask my questions. That leads to my third point, the phone call appointments. This lack of humanity is why I am no longer going to go to this place. Other clinics I've been to since COVID started are doing in person visits. Do you not think you are missing an important aspect of doctor client relationships here? I get it, COVID was bad. People are still affected by it. But this is over kill. And yes, the medical industry is stretched thin. But other clinics are doing a better service.
This walk-in clinic used to be decent in the beginning, and then it went downhill in the last couple of years. I find the reception are rude on most days and the doctors are a big hit and miss. What is even worse now is that the hours are whack. The avability seems to be shrinking as we speak. They use to open 5-6 days a week but now booking an appointment seems impossible. Now I see office hours for only Monday and Tuesdays. What kind of clinic opens for only two days a week? doesnt even make sense. Unless they are lacking physicians? anyways if you need immediate care this place is not it.
The reception staff here are miserable and unhelpful. In their ideal world, no one would ever get to see a doctor, no matter how terrible the condition. Working a little with patients who call or walk in to offer suggestions or helpful and specific advice would go a long ways rather than yelling “no” and slamming down the phone.
The reception is confusing and people working there are not very welcoming or helpful. I have seen three different doctors at this clinic and none of them was able to help me, or provided any insight into next steps when their initial impressions proved to be inaccurate. The 'care' element of medicine is severely lacking here.
A great walk in clinic with staff who are really friendly and prompt. I did not feel uneasy about being a new patient and was seen with a smile right away. I would definitely recommended this clinic. It's located up the elvator from the sidewalk level, and over top of London Drugs. There is parking in the back or street metered parking.
Receptionists are unorganized, miserable and unhelpful. Made the mistake of coming here after a car accident and now I must continue to return to this location for my follow ups. Doctors are incredibly helpful, efficient, thoughtful, thorough and kind but the treatment you receive from the receptionists is so unprofessional and nasty that it makes it difficult to appreciate the other positives aspect of this clinic.
Other than dealing with a doctor the service both in person and online is terrible. I got booted from the waitlist twice because they had an old health number on file. Then after being put on the wait list after calling them, I'm told 30 min, two hours later a doctor calls. For another issue, I asked receptionist to fax my prescription to London Drugs this is after choosing your pharmacy with the online booking system as I would not be going myself to pickup medications due to mobility. WITH A CAST ON MY HAND SHE ASKED ME TO WRITE DOWN THE FAX NUMBER. even after I pointed that out she's like "what's the fax NUMBER, " so passive aggressive and no compassion. Super bubbly gossiping with her colleague though, has the time for that. This clinic takes on more than they can handle.
Very good clinic and highly qualified Doctors. Dr. Lacuna is a very caring Doctor. We are lucky to have her at our Clinic.
