Great staff, everyone was so nice! After a terrible experience 10 years previous at a surgical centre downtown on Burrard, I was expecting the same terrible treatment. Instead, I was so pleasantly surprised! The anesthesiologist, Demitri, gave me a local anesthetic before putting the intravenous needle into the back of my hand which I very much appreciated! All the nurses were kind to me. From start to finish, everyone was so great and treated me well.
I went in for my first surgery a few days ago and everyone at the surgical centre was great. I felt well taken care of from the moment I walked in. I was extremely anxious and they did everything they could to make me comfortable, and followed up the next day. Thank you to the whole team that worked with me! And an extra thanks to the nurse who held my hand when I was scared
Only ten days from diagnosis to surgery to repair my Inguinal Hernia. Dr. Scudamore and his team were amazing. The entire process with False Creek was a pleasant experience largely due to Dr. Scudamore’s ability to listen and understand my concerns, recovery objectives and how I wanted the surgery performed. Open surgery, no mesh, used my own fascia to repair the tear and he also took the time to tie off vessels rather then cauterization. Minimal tissue damage! Can’t say enough good things!
My experience from consultation to surgery was amazing! I had brachioplasty arm lift or tightening and from the receptionist to the surgeon to the wonderful nurses in recovery, every single health care provider was fabulous!
I had a great experience here for my tonsillectomy. Victoria was my post op nurse and she deserves to be recognized for how amazing she is! She kept me calm and entertained while waiting to be released. She is funny, professional and great at her job. In the short time I got to spend with her I could tell she is such a golden light! Everyone in the office was caring and professional but Victoria went the extra mile to make my surgery day run as smoothly as possible. Thank you!
Had an MSP covered elective surgery that took place here on the 17th of January, 2022. Was very nervous, but everyone I interacted with from reception at 7am clear through to different nurses, anesthesiologist, etc were all very kind and lovely people. It was chilly the day I was in, and I was given blankets and a robe fresh from the dryer to stay warm. I am grateful for the experience, and for the healthcare workers who I was able to rely on. I felt everything was communicated to me well pre and post op. Thank you!
I had surgery there on Tues March 8th and I want to thank you all on the 6th floor who provided me with such care and ease. From the gal that checked me in , to Kia, Shelby , Lorna , the anesthesiologist, operating room staff with Dr. Kibblewhite and the recovery room staff. You were all so wonderful and kind to me. I would like to thank all the staff on the 6th floor that took care of me on Wed. I had such a great experience after being so nervous about my surgery. Aimee, who brought me upstairs, the admitting clerk, Tes, my admitting nurse, the anesthesiologist, for making me so relaxed, the OR nurse, the recovery nurse, Lorna, the discharge nurse who spent so much time explaining everything and a big thank you to Dr Kherani for being so caring and doing such a fantastic job. I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's name, but a big thank you to all of you.
I would like to thank to all receptionists, nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists who works at False Creek. They are amazing! They are very carrying, pay attention to details, they offered everything I needed before I asked, their hospitality at the top, they took my fear before surgery away. Thank you for your great job! Special thank you to Dr.Roberts and to anesthesiologist, who worked with me today!
This is the fourth session I've had with Dr's Helper and Yee and the nerve block procedure has been successful beyond my highest expectations. It's four years from my initial treatment and I've been able to go progressively longer between treatments with virtually no pain. I've been treated kindly by the staff and my wait times are always very reasonable for a medical facility. I was fortunate to have my GP direct me to them.
