Not at all welcoming, expensive and trashy. Got mad when I asked why it said $20 on the website. Called me a liar when I said I called and no one picked up, until I pulled out my phone to prove it. The overall vibe is sleezy and dirty. I have been camping all over the country and this was the worst experience I've ever had!

This campsite is fine. It's not fancy at all and some of the sites are kind of scattered around a large open field so you may not have a lot of privacy, but it has warm showers, a dish washing area, and fire pits. I thought the owner was cool, if not a little grumpy, but he didn't bother us at all. This place is only 20 minutes from the Trapps and a good option for a last minute place to stay. I'll definitely stay here again.

Peacefull spot w/ electric and water. Bathroom/ showerhouse is quite run down. Entrance has a tight turn up a steep hill. Getting into your site is tight for larger rigs. Price is a bit steep for the amenities you get. Nice, polite staff.

We stayed here AGAIN this past weekend! We are climbers that have stayed here at least 8 times in the last year. The older gentleman, Bill, that ran this campground was a Gem! As a Geriatric Nurse, I loved him the first time we met him!! He was NOT GROUCHY!!! He had REALISTIC RULES that he asked to be followed...... turn the lights out when ur done in the restrooms, don't build a fire too big in ur fire pit, and keep the noise at a respectful volume! I loved talking with him, and looked forward to staying here and seeing him each trip we planned to climb at the Gunks for the weekend. My heart broke this past weekend when we were told that Bill passed away a few weeks ago. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends there at the campground. Bill... thank you for ur hospitality in the past, and for ur friendship. I missed you. Rest In Peace dear friend. :(

Small, quite, clean. Hot Showers and real bathrooms. Friendly host. I would and will stay there again. Best for sleeping, not really a hang out place.
