Nice place. We were tenting here and the sites were a bit close each other. The ground cover was gravel - good for drainage during the rain but sucks in a tent. The toilets were fine and cleaned daily. would be nicer if they had more than two toilets in the men's room for a camp ground of this size. There are five individual shower stall/rooms, the water pressure was strong and the water was hot and the showers were reasonably roomy.

I'm sad to leave this review as I love KOA and this place is nice. But its proximity to the city draws trash to this location. My last visit included a brawl by some foreigners from the Bronx (as shouted during the violence) who made a spectacle that caused everyone to be on edge. What started as a verbal argument spilled out of the patron's camping cabin and then threats to "stab" each other began flying around. With no cell service, two off duty cops quickly ran to KOA security and requested the local police be called. Two old men on a golf cart came by and gingerly asked the idiots to quiet down or face ejection. As soon as "security" left, the violence escalated again. Finally, after demanding it, the local cops arrived and one of the combatants left the scene. Despite being with two armed off duty cops in my crew, I was still left uneasy knowing there was little between us and the violent, overcrowded cabin of idiots near by. I fault KOA for not calling the cops immediately, allowing the booking of an overcrowded cabin, and allowing the shouting, profanity and threats to continue for almost an hour. The off duty cops had the mind to stay out of a dangerous domestic dispute and not reveal themselves, which would threaten their security if the combatants were to remain camping only a few feet away from them. I will not be returning as this isn't a safe place for our kids. The staff needs serious training in emergency management.

Sites are spacious. Pools were cold but clean. Playground equipment needs replacement. Overall very nice. Helpful staff. 5 stars and a true KOA Holiday location when the playground is updated.

We stayed here Saturday, August 12, 2017. This park is fantastic if you have kids. When we arrived, rides were being given on a real fire truck with siren and all. They have two pools, snack bar with pretty decent snack bar food and free pancakes in the morning with alright sides for purchase. There's a bouncing pillow, bike/big trike rentals, basketball, horseshoes, fishing pond, cabins, big playground, sandpit, small rock wall in playground and at noon they put up the huge rock wall. We happened by when squirt guns were being distributed by a staff member (she could have been happier) and my granddaughter and I enjoyed shooting each other for a bit. At dusk, the inflatable movie screen went up and people brought chairs and blankets and sprawled out to watch Dory. This place has a contained chaos that is at odds with its calm feeling. The wifi was a sign in, third party thing, but it worked. Our site was very close to the other sites. This place is packed in. The dog park is part pool furniture storage and the bag dispenser stayed empty for our visit. We just walked our dogs in the large area behind it. The store is part gift shop, part convenience store with some nice souvenir opportunities. The game room was big and packed full of games, but be prepared to spend some cash. The laundry was a tight area, but functional. People were in and out of the showers all evening. I didn't go in myself. No one seemed bothered by them. The restrooms were fairly clean, especially since they were receiving heavy use. I saw a sign that said Wine Store next to the office, but that was closed while we were there. All in all a very nice family park that we enjoyed spending a night at.

We have stayed at many KOAS and have never had to take my garbage to the dumpster, every other KOA escorted me to my site, not this one, we were given wrong directions and went 10 miles out our way without an apology for the wrong directions. It seems the whole place is run with teenages and no direction, went to play mini gold , the girl was on the large bounce pillow with a friend, and shouted over do we need sometime, she did come over and gave us our clubs & balls, then she started playing with her phone while people were waiting to rent bikes, then back on the bounce pillow. The mini golf areas was loaded with stones, looked like they were never cleaned off but she remained on the bounce pillow. Trees needed to be trimmed in what they called a deluxe site, gravel, no slabs as most deluxe sites have, cable wires run all over on top of the ground, cable , like 10 whole channels, too noisy will not go back
