Couples Resort

This is an amazing, comfortable place. Great food and service. We slept better than ever with the fireplace, hot tub and great bed. The food was not only exquisite but portion controlled so that you didn't go to bed feeling "stuffed". The ambiance made the stay complete. We will return and we will tell friends and family to have a great break-away at this resort!

We stayed here for our honeymoon in late October 2017. I am very glad I chose Couples Resort as our honeymoon! Everything from the breakfast, and dinner to the staff were AMAZING. All employees at this resort are extremely helpful. The food...I'm still thinking about it. Definitely 5 star cuisine. I loved that they gave the option of room service if you didn't feel like dining at the restaurant. All rules were written inside the binder on the coffee table when you enter. All instructions were clear. My definite favourite for breakfast was the Eggs Benedict. The 5 course dinner was great. Definitely go in hungry but if you can't, you can take out and eat it later. It was very cold when we went so we would go back when it's warmer. A must go if you want to get away from the city.

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Couples Resort. My wife and I could not have asked for a better anniversary get away. It had everything we wanted and more. Clean and comfortable accommodations, excellent food, outstanding service, private hot tub, beautiful scenery and the list goes on. Everything was as was advertised. Not once did we feel we were not getting our money's worth. From the initial greeting at the main office, to checking out on our last day. We were made to feel important and cared for. We felt that everyone was bending over backwards for us, just us. Like we were the only ones there. The drive from Ottawa was beautiful as well, which is a bonus. Cannot wait to go back!

Everything was perfect 💖 they really do think of everything there, I thought I packed appropriately, but when we decided to take a canoe trip we were a little under dressed. But no worries they were able to provide us with warm seasonal coats and boots if needed. Much appreciated and so thoughtful The staff was so attentive and friendly, not to mention the FOOD 👍❤ I'd do the drive from Toronto again. We loved the indoor fireplace, it made such a difference. I give it 5 big stars!!!

After a second visit I can confidently recommend Couples Resort for a quiet, romantic, peaceful getaway for any couple for any occasion or just to spend some quality time together. The staff at the service desk, dining room, spa room and the room attendants are always more than helpful to provide or help. The formal dining room atmosphere is one of our favourite reasons to come. The food is some of the best we've had anywhere as a 5 course meal with lots of variety. At the resort you always feel like you are the only couple there. We've attended during the summer and now the fall. We plan to return during the winter months to take in their winter activities and a warm fireplace atmispgere within our room. It's not the cheapest but great bang for buck....all things considered. You won't be disappointed😊
