I loved that the parking lot was completely full, we had to wait for a spot, but inside the lines to the cash were only a few people each, great staff for moving lines so quickly and efficiently, not like the zoo at Anjou, omg what hell compared to this paradise.
I regularly buy flowers at Costco Vaudreuil Dorion location twice a month apart from other shopping in-store and online. I went to the flower section and the price displayed was $14.99 and $29.99, while at the cash counter, when scanned, it showed me $22.99 instead of $14.99.nnThe cashier got the supervisor; we went to the section, and the supervisor, instead of an apology or owning up to a mistake, asked me to verify the barcode before purchase. I explained to him that the price displayed was wrong and it's not just one bunch but several. There was $14.99, $22.99, and $29.99; however, how does a customer know their barcode prices as there is no scanner at the flower section? Just a price tag that says $14.99 and $29.99.nnI am not a horticulturist to know what the cultivator flowers or any such definition means. To me, a flower is either a rose, tulip, lily, etc. Then comes the manager, Julie, who is no better than the supervisor, hence the attitude. I expected her to own the mistake and apologize, but she kept pinning the blame on me, and her tone was rough.nnShe asked me four times what I wanted and what I expected. I told her a simple apology would suffice, yet still neither did she honor the law of Quebec nor did she apologize. I then went to customer service and asked to speak to the GM, Christian, who came, and my first question to him was, am I an employee to fix issues or a customer to have a good shopping experience? After narrating the incident to him, he understood somewhat but tried to defend by giving a wrong analogy.nnI simply told him this is not a good customer experience, and to add to it, I told him Walmart, Maxi, and other shopping chains with the same wrong pricing own up and fix the mistake right at the cash, nor harass the customer. What happened with me is not only customer harassment but a violation of the law of Quebec.nnIn Quebec, if an item's displayed price in the store is lower than the scanned price at the cash register, the merchant must honor the lower price and either give the item to you for free if it's $10 or less or sell it to you at the lower price and give you a $10 discount if it's more than $10. This policy, known as the Price Accuracy Policy, is designed to protect consumers from being overcharged due to pricing errors.nnEdit : so I got a call from the manager , she apologised and offered me a free choice of flowers . It was a nice gesture , she called to fix this however as for the flowers I declined saying I would be happy to pay as I don't expect or expected the flowers for free. All that matters is being spoken to in a human and professional manner .
I’ve been a loyal Costco member for years, but lately, their service has gone downhill. More and more, they are pushing customers toward self-serve checkouts, making us do the work that cashiers used to do—yet we still have to pay for a membership! What’s the point of paying a yearly fee if we’re expected to check out our own items with minimal assistance?nnCostco used to stand out for its great customer service, but now it feels like they are cutting corners while expecting members to pick up the slack. If this trend continues, I’ll seriously reconsider renewing my membership.
Great selection, friendly staff.nIf you're looking for a wide variety of foods and drinks, this Costco in Quebec is worth checking out. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We'll definitely be back.
Each and every visit at the costco in Vaudreuil you always get the best customer service also if you have any question you alwayd have someone that will awnser your question in regards to a product or anything else. I used to go in Ottawa for the past 23 years and with my parents was always Ottawa.. But i started 3 years or so ago to start and go in Vaudreuil.. It's the best Costco!! I lived in Kitchener,Kingston and let me tell you that the best costco is def in Vaudreuil! You have to go there!!nBathroom 10/10 always clean!!nCustomer service always consistent!nProduct availability aswell if they dont have it they can certainly get it for you.. Go at the little desk near the exit and make the request.nnI suggest to anyone to visit this location it's a gem!!nnI go from Ontario to Quebec because they are the very best.
