Consulate General Of The Dominican Republic

How do you get information when NO ONE ever answers phone and you cannot leave messages. Been trying for almost a week and different times of the day. Once they answered but put me on hold immediately for over 10 minutes, I hung up and redialed only for it to ring and go to message that their mail box is full and cannot accept messages and to try again later. How annoying! All I want is information!

I called and the lady, Kenia Garcia, put me on hold right from the gecko, was on hold for over 8 minutes, I hanged up called again but nobody answered so I called again and nobody answered again, so I called again and again after like the 5th time she answers the phone and asks me if she can put me on hold I said no that I just have a couple of questions and she says thank you and puts me on hold anyways, I kept calling but this time she was just hanging up on me, wow mi pobre pais si que le falta crecer

I had to get a document done by them, and they needed more information but never called me untill I called as it was over 3 weeks then she asked for them. One would think that if they need to process the document and are missing documentation they would call but no. Its taking over 6 weeks for one page document. Ugh

Like every government institution in the DR... A complete and useless mess! They have a tiny "work" window and when you call during "working" hours they rarely pick up the phone. Thanks a lot DR!
