Comfort Inn & Suites Omaha Central

Called to try and get my daughter, one who is under 21 and traveling alone, a room. The lady at the front desk on 30 Jan at 7:24 p.m. wasn’t very helpful, especially after she said they couldn’t book her. I was on the phone with my daughter as she went in to try and book as well and she was given attitude after she asked her age. This upset her and she walked out. This is when I called for an assist. I understand the policy and tried to work with her as she said they will not book her due to her age and she hung up on me as I was talking. Called a comfort Inn up the street and they were willing to help out. The lady at the front desk, Miranda, was very helpful. Though they couldn’t book my daughter due to her pet, she was willing to call another hotel for me and hook her up. I’ve stayed at a few Comfort Inns and Miranda would be the only reason to book and stay at more. She had an awesome attitude and assisted the best way she could. Hats off to this young lady but thumbs down to this place. Hopefully the rest of the staff is way better than the one you had this evening.

Touring comedian Dante Powell recently stayed here while performing in Omaha and had a great stay! The room was perfect and the floor was very quiet. The staff was awesome and very friendly considering the really late check-in, and even provided a late check-out so our client could take full advantage of the free breakfast, laundry room, and indoor pool in the morning!

Loved my stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, located near lots of shopping and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and clean and the front desk was very friendly. They do offer complimentary hot breakfast in the mornings and there is fresh coffee available all day. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Omaha!

Let's be honest. When I read a hotel room it's based on what I'm getting for the money. This is one of the best values I have experienced as this is the nicest Comfort Inn I have stayed in my 25 years on the road. First off the place is big. The lobby, the pool, and rooms themselves are bigger than a typical chaik hotel. The bed was very comfy and the new remodel of the hotel inside made it feel more like a Sheraton. Of course, a Sheraton doesn't give you a complimentary breakfast and costs almost twice as much. Great hotel a block off the interstate. Oh and the woman working the desk had a great personality, unlike most of the robots that hold that job I run into. Great new find for my trips to Omaha.

Pros: large, clean rooms,decent breakfast, in house bar and grill ------> also a con but not hotels fault Cons: unprofessional, inattentive staff lack of communication in potential emergency situations I.e the fire alarm going off consistently (fire alarm was "silenced' so that the fire department wouldn't be dispatched) NO ONE was evacuated while it was determined what caused the issue, we weren't being spoken to more so ignored, we had to prod for information, Another example of unprofessional staffing, being on a business trip we have several separate rooms each employee checks themselves in, we also arranged to have the shuttle taking employees places, upon attempting to check in we were given nothing but issues from them not allowing us to check in easily, to arguing that there was no shuttle scheduled for us to the fact that the following morning the shuttle driver was visibly annoyed he had to be driving at 7 am. To the driver being an hour late for pick up and drop offs With all of this said if you don't mind piss poor desk staff, the rooms are good and clean
