Colton's NOFRILLS Edmonton

I have to be honest! My first experience with No Frills was in Calgary, not a very positive one. Moving back to Efmonton had been s much better experience. I came to Colton's store because Dairyland butter was less than $5 lb. I took my time wandering the isles and comparing prices. I found some really great deals that week. The cleanliness of the store was very welcoming. I have been back a few times since and I now consider this store, here in Edmonton, MY favorite No Frills.

I enjoy this no frills as they have a nice big parking lot. The store inside is spacious as well and things are laid out properly/neatly. Easy to find items you need. This is usually my go to no frills even though Im right in the middle of the 97st one as well. I choose this one over 97.

A first experience I found the prices were a pleasant surprise..but if you're looking for anyone to crack a smile or be pleased to help, this isn't the place for you.nWhen I asked about the location of an item of a cashier, I got an unhelpful, general wave toward the meat department. So, I asked her to call someone to help. Her annoyed initial reaction was followed by slamming the phone down at the call's end. In total, I interacted with 5 people. Only one acted like they cared about their customer. Cheers.

No Frills means great prices. The store is well lit and clean. The produce is well stocked and good quality. This store is like an express Superstore, no full service bakery or meat selection but that’s ok as the prices are great for everyone.

Terrible Eggplants, we purchased 2 and both were contaminated with black mold inside the flesh of the vegetables. I have photos to substantiate my claim. Just glad our loss was only $ 2.00
