Colton's NOFRILLS Edmonton

First, disclaimer that I previously stated that several things couldn't be purchased here. Unfortunately, my app transposed this survey over one for a restaurant! This No Frills has improved tremendously over the last couple of years, especially with the staff's friendliness and professionalism. I shop here more often now for many things that I've found less expensive or for a quick trip, as the store is smaller and checkout normally quick. I only rated the store as a 4 simply for the same reason, as the store's size limits carrying some of the more specialized products that I use.

I’m a regular at this store and many of the staff know me. The staff are wonderful, except for Hayley who is apparently the store manager according to her. The staff said she is not the manager, but a department manager. I was having some trouble purchasing a Turkey that had no price tag. Hayley was asked to assist with this. I politely let her know the price that the Turkey should be. She did not like that and snapped at me. I told her she was rude and she did not like that also. She then proceeded to tell me she wasn’t going to help with the Turkey and I could not buy it. I asked for her name and she ignored me. Hayley stormed off and left the staff with no support with the missing price tag problem. Luckily, the kind and helpful staff solved the problem. Later, I called the store looking for the real manager/owner. Hayley answered the phone said the manager was not at the store. She then immediately hung up on me without taking a message. I called back and fortunately a nice man took a message from me to leave for the owner/manager. Apparently, Hayley is not well liked at this store and I can see why. I feel bad that the staff has to deal with a bully like this. Shame on you, Hayley. Not sure how she can be a manager at any level with her huge lack of people skills.

No Frills means great prices. The store is well lit and clean. The produce is well stocked and good quality. This store is like an express Superstore, no full service bakery or meat selection but that’s ok as the prices are great for everyone.

Hi, If you have a pet you better pay from this location the price is better than Dollar Tree.nThe staff was very friendly and helpful I am glad I went to Colton’s NOFRILLS Edmonton NW location.

I have been to this store more than twice and o have noticed that they usually have great quality produce.nThe price of their produce is affordable and cheaper than sister store Real Canadian Superstore.nnThis store is also nicely located along the 167 Avenue and easier to navigate in and out of the store.nn
