Great food. Great coffee. Quick service. Friendly staff. Hard to find areas for improvement. Of all the coffee shops in Madison, Colectivo on the Square is definitely my favorite.

The baked oatmeal was delicious and vegan. Kudos to this shop for having more than one vegan option. Huge space! Clean, lots of power outlets to charge your devices. Super friendly staff.

The coffee is excellent, but the counter service feels very corporate. There is a good variety of seating available, including exquisite indoor and outdoor patio areas. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, you'll find it here.

Hard-to-beat coffee. Adequate if not-cheap baked goods. Kind of fun for people-watching. Brisk business every time I've been. Terrific views of the Capitol and of cosmopolitan passers-by. Large outdoor area - if the weather's good.
