Cineplex Cinemas Empress Walk

I had a great experience at Cineplex! The cinema hall was very clean, quiet, and less crowded compared to other locations, which made it very enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to expand the coffee options. For example, I wanted an iced coffee, but they didn’t have it, so I went with a hot coffee instead. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

This movie theatre was really good for me!!! Korean movies are also available in this theatre too!!! I saw the movie “Harbin” in this movie theatre!!! This theatre is in the city centre, so it is good at accessibilities for people too!! + This theatre is also inside a big shopping mall, so you can shop for groceries, home equipments or for medical supplies like medicine, and see movies right top upstairs in this shopping center for sure!!! At the end of your shopping and for the break of the end of the week …. for sure…. Also, furthermore in this theatre’s ground level, the Toronto Subway’s “North York Centre’s” station is directly being connected in there too!!! So, I think also the accessibility from the people outside this Cinema’s North York city areas is also really good too!!! I recommend you visiting this good movie theatre at least one day!!!!nP.s.: the price such as popcorn or hotdogs of this theatre is really expensive too… so I do not recommend you buying your movie theatre snacks here…. I recommend you buying movie theatre snacks such as chips or popcorns in Dollarama or in Grocery stores which is being located in the downer level, floor of this Movie Theatre’s shopping mall for sure!!! * it is totally selling cheaper there!! then directly in the movie theatre which is directly located upstairs… according to my experience…. :;: *

Visited this Cineplex while on a trip, and it was a great experience! The food selection is similar to other Cineplex locations, and the staff were attentive and efficient. The theater was clean and well-maintained. Plus, the building offers convenient access to amenities like the subway, Dollarama, a grocery store, and a snack shop, making it a great spot for a night out or a quick stop for essentials.

Located on 3rd floor of empress walk. Not usually super busy :nnConveniently located: steps from TTC North York Centre Station or 3 hrs free validated parking in the underground parking garage.nnPs. The underground parking is off Hillcrest Ave same as Ichiban AYCE for anyone looking to find it. Make sure to validate your ticket entering/before leaving.

I recently watched a movie at this theater, and it was extremely hot inside. Even though I was only wearing a t-shirt, it felt like it was over 30°C. Considering it’s currently the cold winter season in Toronto and everyone is dressed in warm clothes, this was very uncomfortable and surprising. I noticed that there have been negative reviews about this issue for more than a day now. When I spoke to the staff, they said they didn’t expect it to be this hot or for the problem to remain unresolved for so long. It seems they didn’t cancel the screening because it was nearly sold out, but it’s impossible to enjoy a movie under these conditions.
