The location is nice, they have a very nice new ATM but don't have many staff. You can go here to deposit or withdraw bills, but they won't take rolls. I don't think they do much more than that.

I went in to close my account, the staff told me they didn't have enough cash. Really?! A bank that doesn't have cash. What has the world come to? I was told "because this is a digital branch." Yikes. Your new concept failed, CIBC.

Wish I could rate this place negative stars. Absolutely awful service. They do not have tellers here; it's just an oversized drive through for ATMs. CIBC is a terrible company and the staff simply don't care. Don't waste your time, go to another branch or switch to a competing bank.

TL;DR No tellers, takes forever to get basic stuff done. ---- Good job getting rid of tellers... If you get rid of channels, you're SUPPOSED TO HELP people TRANSITION into different channels--you did the exact opposite by making a simple request take 20+ minutes :) If it weren't for the fact I was moving, I would've switched to TD, Scotia, RBC. Heck, I'm going to, once I sort things out. You managed to take a predominately diverse area, who need customer service, and turn them away because you wanted to be "innovative" and become of the few "all digital and online" banks.

The below was what I wrote a few months back. Now it gets even worse as they got rid of all the tellers, and I mean all of them. You must now talk to the financial advisor for a simple bank draft or cash deposit. What this CIBC is doing is that the advisors will scan through your accounts and assets to sell you more credit cards or more useless accounts. I am going to close my account and go with someone else. ========================================================== Went there several times and doesn’t matter how long the line up is, it is usually just 1 teller. One time the teller was chit-chatting with her colleagues in the backdoor in Mandarin THE WHOLE TIME while serving a customer. Another time I was waiting in line while the teller was serving a customer in Russian for 10 minutes. Not sure what the discussion is, but a 10 minutes discussion that does not involve looking at a monitor, going through any brochures make me believe this is not business related. I end up using the ATM and when I go check back at them, they are still at it. The only good thing there is ample of parking.
