Myung Ga

This location used to be a family run Korean cuisine restaurant called Myung Ga. Now they changed it into a Korean Fried Chicken fast food shop. They still have dine in service but most people order take outs. Their fried chicken was very tasty. The skin was crispy and the meat was very juicy. It tasted great with the sauce. There were nine different flavours available. We picked sweet spicy and original fried chicken. I think it was a good combination.

What a treat, what a dream! To have Korean dishes and Korean fried chicken in the same place? A blessing indeed. We ordered half an order of the hot and spicy chicken + the bibimbap and it was plenty of food for 2. The chicken was crispy and light, really flavourful too. The side dishes were generous for only having ordered 2 dishes compared to other Korean places in the city.

It was so good!! We got the Supreme Chicken for 13$, and it was crispy and tender, and the portion sizes were really generous!! We also got tons of other dishes, which were delicious as well! I am happy to have my favorite Korean restaurant in my community. All food I tried so far was super tasty. Among that, I indeed say the sweet-spicy chicken is the best Korean-style chicken in Calgary. Other than that, I love the side dishes served with soup or stew. Highly recommended!!

Delicious! I really like the soy garlic chicken. The regular crispy fried chicken was too regular. Seafood pancake was pretty good. Would come back again.

Fried Chicken taste so good; they offer special soup menu in every Tuesdays to Thursday where it comes with noodles at $13, additional rice cost$2 can fill you up with joy!

Amazing quality of food and service! The ingredients are CLEAN, no fillers! This small restaurant is run by a small team of family members that make all their plates from scratch and condiments in-house. Their pickled radishes are spectacular!! An authentic experience of comfort food with just the right amount of spice.

Excellent quality tasting crispy fried, sweet spicy, and truffle grana pandano chicken. Portion size is good and chicken was moist not dry. Would definitely be ordering again at this local gem.

We were craving Korean food and found this little gem. Wonderful portions, taste and price! Would love to go back in our next trip to Calgary!
