This place has some really great tasting fried chicken! I usually order delivery with their bone in fried chicken and it's always so flavorful! I'm pretty sure I ordered every flavor once over the past couple of years and my favorite is Soy Soul Chicken and it's savoury and sweet! I'm not too much of a spice person. If you are ordering from the boneless chicken menu, I advise getting anything with the melted cheese on top! I ordered it for a mini potluck and everyone really liked it and keeps asking me to order it again. The bibimbap was of course yummy! The store itself was clean and tidy, the staff provided very friendly service and I look forward to bringing more people to the location to try out more of their menu. :
The last 3 times we ordered all have missing items. Tried their wings this time, is dried and tiny overcooked. Their bone in chicken are pretty good. Their menu is confusing, bone-in or nuggets are the same flavors, recommend double check before ordering.
I love Crunchy House. Almost every month I have to order myself a full order box of boneless volcano chicken to curb the craving. Nothing else I've had compares. If you split the full size order to four meals it's well priced as well ~$7. If you like spicy, this will blow you away. I'd compare the flavour to be sort of similar to the samyang fire noodle sauce, but better. The sweet and spicy is good too, but has way less kick. They include a lil bit of pickled radish chunks Chicken-mu as well and they're surprisingly not bad. Bit sweet, sour and salty, pairing well with their chicken.
An amazing food menu with lots of tasty options. Very nice and kind staff too. We have been to this place a few times and every time we left very happy. My favourite dish is definitely the Beef Bulgogi. Do ask for their Korean hot sauce.
A shop that offers multiple different country dishes for different taste. It has Korean crunchy chicken, Korean bulgogi, Vietnamese submarine, wonton soup , vermicelli, hotpot and bubble tea. Despite the menu, I believe it is mainly a Korean restaurant. The crunchy chicken was juicy, but the hot sauce three pepper hot had a bit too much sweetness into it, not exactly what I like. But I guess that is Korean style? The wonton noodle showed up as vermicelli, so beware of that. Other family members were happy with their meal. The Vietnamese bulgogi submarine was juicy and the hotpot portion was generous. My family was happy, hence the four star.
Food is hot and fresh, lots of traditional choices as well as the fried chicken. We ordered the family dinner, 1 dish of fries and 2 gigantic platters of boneless fried chicken =$60 SO MUCH FOOD. Service is A+ . Lost a star because the restaurant is a hole in the wall, everything from the menus to the walls are dirty. Maybe skip the dishes is a better option of this interferes with your dining experience.
Tried this place for the first and last time today. Ordered a half bird golden crunchy. This chicken was very obviously refried and was very dry and tough. Also one of the pieces had a very big feather sticking out of it. Pure laziness on behalf of whoever cooked it as it was very obvious. Place is also very dirty. Very disappointing. If you are wanting good fried chicken, go elsewhere. On a positive note, we ordered some soy soul sauce on the side and that was very good. Too bad the chicken was garbage.
Absolutely smitten with this place!! There is nothing I didn't like friendly service amazing food. I love the concept here you can get fried chicken and fries for picky eaters while still enjoying vermicelli and Hotpot. Awesome place to bring the kids.
Yum! Beef Bibimbap! Came with fresh fried egg on top, mix it all together and you have magic! Food was good, prices good, service good, the bathrooms could definitely use some more TLC.
Crunchy House offers both Korean & Vietnamese menu. I've only ever tried their Korean fried chicken, but it is absolutely one of the best in the city in my opinion! I've only ever had it once before because it's sooo far away, but I would probably eat it every week if I could. Their chicken isn't remotely greasy & is full of perfectly cooked meat. However, I will say that their fire volcano chicken is one of the only foods that may actually be too spicy for me! & I'm obsessed with spicy food I swear it was like 25x more spicy than nuclear fire chicken noodles!!! It was still really delicious but my mouth literally felt like it may bleed & I started shaking LOL! The sweet & sour mustard flavour was still quite spicy somehow, but the perfect amount. Would definitely recommend this one! IG: @hungry.yyc
