GoodLife Fitness Centres

I don't see a reason why not to fall in love with this fitness centre! Huge free parking space, humongous gym space with plenty up-to-date state of the art fitness equipment. Nice and clean gym, change rooms, great swimming pool, relaxing whirlpool, absolutely working steam room. I was impressed by the Pool Chair Lift, making pool accessible to all! I'm on my $14 14 day trial period and call me crazy as I drive 15 km everyday to this gym for all these wonderful reason. This is the place where I feel confident in investing my time and money. And yes, I do also have a minor concern which is in my opinion is negligible, is young staff need a little tweaking on customer service to feel original. Otherwise I'm still in love with this fitness centre! Absolutely recommending others!

Gym is nice right now cause it’s new. Slowly turning into a dump. Change rooms are always dirty and the pool/steam room are disgusting. No staff is there to make sure people aren’t wearing their underwear in the pool. No one showers before using these facilities. Have been in the Coed steam room multiple times while men are naked or in their dirty underwear, which is disgusting and not appropriate for the females who use these facilities. I’m paying for facilities I can’t bring myself to use anymore because people don’t have common sense. Kinda sad that they need someone to enforce basic hygiene. To be honest every gym in Brampton is disgusting. Only a matter of time until this ones a write off as well.

Equipment is generally very good. The dumbbells could get organized more though. The change rooms on the other hand are pathetic. Always a mess. Nowhere near enough benches and there’s used towels everywhere. The showers smell gross and need to be cleaned way more often. Also the paper towels and spray need to be refilled more often to wipe sweat off machines

I joined GoodLife in 2016, reluctantly, as I had previously cancelled my membership due to them not managing my account properly around payments. I was hoping that was a one off experience and thought I'd give the club another try. I got the Canada wide access for approx $33 bi weekly. I was told if I later changed my mind and wanted to go down to single club access that it would be "no problem" "no extra fees" and that I would then pay approx $33 a month instead of bi weekly. After going through a miscarriage at the start of December 2017 and am going through a second miscarriage now, I haven't gone to the club for some time for obvious reasons. I went in today to ask if I could go down to the single club access as I had not once used another club except the one in Brampton at Mcglaughlin since joining. Now they tell me their rates have gone up.. as of December 2017. I would now need to pay more to go down to single club, approx $24 bi weekly and that they would not honour the rate that I was told when I first joined. GoodLife has proven to me yet again, and not surprisingly at all, that they work on their own terms. Apparently I am two months too late for them to honour my membership despite my medical issues. Way to take advantage, GoodLife.

Every staff member I have spoken to here has been very nice. There are two things though. 1. It is actually not 24hrs 7 days a week. I joined thinking it was a 24hr gym (I work shift work and weekends). It is only 24hrs 4 days a week. 2. The machines (especially in the women’s area) could use some deeper cleaning. Could you please change the hours online to reflect the actual business hours. It’s a bit confusing. Thank you
